Downtown Luxe Modern Home

Located in the heart of downtown Cookeville, less than a mile to the Historic Westside District, local restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques & Dogwood Park. This 4,000 sq ft home features exotic hardwoods, tall ceilings, original art, collectible furniture, soaking tubs, wraparound balcony, tree-lined private fenced yard & 2-car garage. This 4 bedroom/3 bath home is above artist Brad Sells studio/gallery where tours can be arranged.
The space
This home boasts luxury, style, art and comfort all in one. It is spacious, private & ideal for families or large groups. There are 2 bedrooms/2 baths on the main level, and 2 bedrooms/1 bath on bottom level. Each bedroom has privacy and separate sitting areas. It’s sure to be a comfortable stay as well as a memorable experience.
Guest access
Guests have access to the home which is above the studio/gallery. They may access the studio and art gallery by appointment. Please note: there is a large stairway up to the home. This staircase would be difficult to some.

Brad is very welcoming and helpful. We ended up staying during a winter storm and he was always present with bags of salt for the stairs and made sure we had a safe way in and out and everything we needed. We’ve even needed to extend our stay as we are unable to head home yet due to ice and he has been more than accommodating. The space is large enough we were able to invite our large family over to spend time together and we had room to spread out, stay warm, play games and relax. The place is artsy and unique, while maintaining warmth and welcome, which always feeds my soul. I appreciate a well put together interior. Location is perfect as we are close to family and our favorite local coffee shop (Poets) as well as pretty central to anything we could want or need to get to in town. Highly recommend this place. We are glad we booked it and hope to again in the future!

We loved this Cookeville gem! The house is quirky and cool in all the best ways. It was immaculately clean and every detail was covered - down to white noise machines in the bedrooms. Tons of space for everyone to spread out and the outdoor space was an absolute delight. Can’t wait to stay here again!

Girlfriend Getaway

Eight girlfriends came to Cookeville to enjoy the nearby hiking/waterfalls, excellent food and delicious drinks. We wanted a property large enough for our group and one that was fun to hangout in. This place was fantastic! We loved the attention to detail in every room like the record player with classic albums to enjoy, fresh flowers upon arrival, and beautiful/eclectic artwork. Brad is so responsive and helpful. It was a great experience!

Sisters Water Fall Trip. We DIDN'T wan't to leave!!!! What a treat waking up in this beautiful home. Walking into the main living area/kitchen is so bright and cheery! After a long day of hiking and coming back to this home away from home was a real treat! Talent and Creativity at every turn awaits you! And yet it's comfy and cozy too! We just loved this place! Unique home. Beautiful craftsmanship. Comfortable beds.

It was a true reprieve to come back to this home each day during our family trip and sleep in the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! The woodworking throughout the house was some of the best I've seen. Blending of the beautiful wood with the sculptures and art was a highlight! Comfortable home, clean. Some neighbor noise in the connected apartment heard only in the master bedroom at night, but luckily we had an extra bed and I just moved downstairs the last couple of nights.

AMAZING stay

This is by far the most amazing rental I've ever stayed in. It is a unique property, beautifully designed and laid out. The space somehow feels both luxurious and inviting/comfortable/cozy. You also won't want to miss the incredible outdoor seating space. Location is perfect, <1 mile from downtown. We had a few questions for Brad and he was incredibly responsive and gracious. We very much hope to return! Don't hesitate to book!

Amazing and Beautiful

We had an absolutely wonderful time. The pictures do not do this place justice! The house is huge and set up so well. It had absolutely everything we needed for our family of 6 to stay for a week. You could have several families stay with plenty of space as there are 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and essentially 4 living rooms. It also had a fun nook/loft the kids loved playing in and awesome wrap around deck/porch that we really enjoyed. It has a huge fenced in yard (and gated parking). So plenty of space for the kids to run around. It is beautifully decorated with such amazing art and wood pieces. Brad’s gallery has some really cool pieces as well. Everything was as described and very clean. The Master bedroom bed was soooo comfy. Brad was wonderful with communication and quick to respond when I had any questions. We really enjoyed our time. This will be our go to place when we come back to cookeville. You will not regret booking this place. We just absolutely loved it. Our kids even said that they missed “our cookeville house” when we returned home.
