Nice place in Waikoloa

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice, easy to find given the directions from the host. However, we had difficulty finding the correct switch for the hallway, fan lights in dining and living rooms; would be good if the switches are labeled. We couldn't figure out how to turn on the TV, and once it was on, how to change the channels. The manager, Derek, was helpful in having someone come in and turn the set on while we were out the first full day, but the next day, we were unable to use the instructions in the room to turn it on. Very vague. Instructions need to be more specific and also how to change the channels. Once we found OC16, we couldn't get to a regular channel so we had no idea the severity of the incoming storm and that the schools had been canceled for the next days. If teachers hadn't called us, we would have gone the next day to an empty campus. Being incommunicado is not a good thing.

Everything was great. Had. Title trouble with the washer and had immediate response to help with the issue. Everything was very clean, beds comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. Great location. Turkeys walking around the property are a bonus!

Great townhouse to stay and great location

The house was clean and spacious. The couch turns into a big couch bed. Kitchen had everything we needed and it has washer and dryer. The kids love the pool and hot tub and it was not crowded.

Well appointed unit that was very comfortable to stay in. One bedroom faced a busy road that could have been an issue that was solved by running a fan at high speed at night to provide white noise. No bathroom on main floor took some getting used to. Very well managed unit.

Just not what was expected

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: While the home is clean, comfortable furniture/beds, it was very hard to keep cool enough to be comfortable. Due to the lack of adequate aircon in the home we needed to turn on fans, move them around and it made it quite noisy and not relaxing. We had to open windows and doors which also allowed for mosquitoes and traffic noise and smells of various things. Overall it was not a relaxing experience for our vacation. We choose not to even cook because it caused more heat.My granddaughters room slider faced the Hwy so she could not sleep well. And the worst was the pool was closed the entire time. My granddaughter loves to swim when we travel. So if heat doesn’t bother you this is a lovely place. It is safe, centrally located across from two centers. Parking is clean and close. The home was very cleaned and stocked well. Just seemed like a bit more work to keep it cool.

Perfect location to experience Big Island

The condo was perfect size for 4 of us and it was very clean & organized. My father and my husband enjoyed the golf every day. My mother and I did the morning walk and stayed by the pool. The Mauna Loa resort is 15 min drive and we enjoyed the King's and Queens shops and also the beaches. It was nice family trip. Thank you.

Best unit stayed in Waikoloa

The unit floor looked nice and dishwasher also looked like brand new. The unit had all we needed like beach chair, cooler etc. We went to beach and enjoyed also shopping at Kings and Queens. The condo complex was very quite and we swim in the pool had a very relaxing stay. I recommend the unit for golfers, family/friends visit to enjoy relaxing time in quite complex and outside of the resort areas.

Everything went well except arrival at front door when we only had the 6 digit code.And no phone contact to put us out of our misery, nor the parking spot that we could use.and no phone contact for anybody who could resolve it easily

Our 2024 vacation

Our family of four enjoyed the open yet comfortable space. The supermarket and shopping across the street was super convenient. The pools and additional amenities made for many different activities available at our fingertips. My youngest got to experience her first time in the ocean was probably the highlight of the trip and a close second would be walking to the golf course from this place! Definitely worth it and will return!

Nice Condo in a Great Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family loved our time at Ahe Waikoloa. The condo is just like the photos; beautiful, nicely furnished, and very comfortable. It's right next to the golf course. I was able to play one day while my wife and kids had fun hanging out at the pool. We spent a day at Hapuna Beach which is a GORGEOUS white sandy beach. It was about a 20 minute drive. We had dinner at Lava Lava Beach Club, super yummy! And watched the sunset. Highly recommend, and will definitely stay again next year!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Waikoloa hills unit 1201 is a comfortable place for anyone interested in the west side of the Big Island. My family was returning for a reunion and we wanted a place closer to golf and amenities for the family. It's about thirty minutes from the airport in Kona and just uphill from the beaches and resorts of Waikoloa. The unit has a nice kitchen with everything needed to cook meals and relax. Upstairs are the two bedrooms and the master has an en suite bathroom, so no sharing bathroom with my kids, lol. Right across the street is the village that has groceries, gas restaurants.Golf with my buddies was an easy walk from the unit which enabled my family to go and explore with the vehicle. The place is absolutely worth checking out and we will be back to create more awesome memories.Aloha

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was the perfect size for our family of 4. This can be a group of friends etc as well. In the morning you can hear birds singing, wild turkey birds are rooming outside the condo. Our kids enjoyed seeing the big turkey birds. You can take a morning walk towards the golf course or shopping complex across the street to have a coffee or breakfast. KTA supermarket has all you need from fresh local vegetables, fruits to beach accessories. This condo had every necessity in the kitchen, washer, dryer in the unit, beach gear, you can drive 10 min to the beaches. We used a BBQ grill by the pool and enjoyed the cool sunset breath. We all had a nice time here.For Japanese guests - I am originally from Japan and the rental company who is managing the unit is a couple and the wife is from Japan. We inquired about something and she helped me in Japanese. It was very nice. 日本の方へ、管理されているご夫婦がアメリカと日本の方などで万が一何かあった時に日本語でお話ができるという安心があると思います。
