Pro’s-Cost-Excellent location-The beach is a quick 2-minute walk (if that)-We didn’t leave our block for food—musubi café, ramen, poke bowls, Korean BBQ—everything we needed was right on our street and reasonably priced. Since it was just my son and me, we didn’t need anything fancy.-Front desk and maintenance staff were very responsive and friendly.-Parking felt safe (35/day).-The room was solid. Both the king bed and pullout sofa were comfortable.-Full kitchen included a coffee maker, refrigerator, toaster, pots, and pans. We made coffee and breakfast every day, which helped save money.-Target is a five minute walk for groceries and accessories.-Pool and hot tub were fine, and everyone we interacted with was pleasant.Cons-Elevator wait times can be long, especially in the afternoon and evening—sometimes up to three minutes. Pro tip: hop on whenever you can.-We had an ant issue - they had to come twice during our 6-day stay. Maintenance sprayed Raid, including once while we were eating breakfast (within a couple of feet of us). Liquid ant baits would have been a much better solution and wouldn’t stink up the room.OverallOverall, it was a pleasant stay and well worth the price. I’d come back for the location, convenience, and price —but not if I were trying to impress someone.
