Unser privates Cottage nur für Erwachsene befindet sich im Herzen des Cajun Country mit seinen vielen Festivals und Fischrestaurants. Anne and Mike were excellent hosts. The one bedroom house was next door to their home but felt completely private. The view of the bayou was peaceful and the location convenient to the charming Abbeville town center as well as al the other Cajun communities.

This was our second stay at Bayou Rose, and we will return! If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable little cottage with the perfect porch for rocking while you sip your coffee (or wine!), this is it. The kitchen is well-equipped, and Ann is very attentive. It’s just like staying with family, but you have the place to yourself!

Beautiful and Cozy Cottage

We loved our stay here. It was incredibly cozy and has such a beautiful view of the river. The kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a homey and relaxing place to stay in the area.

Lovely Getaway

Having been there 5 times, this is a perfect getaway and place to unwind and kick back. You can do as much or as little as you want. Hosts are super! Very considerate and leave the best treats! We’ll definitely be back!

Beautiful cozy spot on the Bayou!

We enjoyed our stay and Anne and Mike were so responsive and kind. The house was clean and well stocked, the owners make it to where you don’t need to bring anything! Very relaxing spot to get away to. Highly recommend!!

Perfect place for our Anniversary getaway!

Mrs. Anne is very hospitable and accommodating. The property is very peaceful and serene; ideal for relaxing but close enough to attractions and places of interest. The Bayou Rose cottage is a hidden gem worth staying at again.

Really nice place

Cozy cottage

The cottage is just precious and perfect for a get away from everyday life! The highlight for us was the porch which faces the Vermilion River, the perfect place to sit peacefully and enjoy the local wildlife. We also really enjoyed meeting the owners!

Wonderful Hospitality!

Anne and Mike made us feel like we were staying with family during our stay at the cabin for a family wedding. They had breakfast items and a warm welcome for us The cabin was spotless, and the view of the bayou from the porch and dock were spectacular and oh so peaceful. Our highest recommendation!

Fantastic Getaway

This is our fourth trip to this fabulous cottage. The hosts are great about giving ideas of what to do and great places to dine. But, just sitting on the back porch gazing at the bayou is super relaxing and gives a person a chance to chill and rewind.

40th Anniversary Celebration

My wife and I had a weekend to spend here at Anne and Mike’s little house. We’ve rented these types of B&B’s many times. I can say this, you won’t find any house more stocked up than this one. If you’re looking for something you need and can’t find it, you’re not looking hard enough. A fantastic place. Food, culture, atmosphere and beauty, it’s all here. Great host and a great place. Two regrets. Didn’t go sooner and didn’t stay longer.

Ahhhhmazing!!!

It was great to have a sweet little place to rest and relax. We also toured Jefferson and Avery Island, went on a swamp tour, and ate great food. All of this at the recommendations of Anne and Mike. They treated us to delicious snacks as well. They go above and beyond as hosts!❤️

Home away from home

Anne and Michael were amazing hosts, who made sure we had everything we needed. They were right next door to us and made it clear to contact them if we needed ANYTHING! Anne was also like a second mother to us young adults who made sure we were safe when we were exploring Louisiana and even before our vacation started and once we were on our way home as well!
