Abbeywood is a beautiful home with a great view of Lake Ontario. The home is well furnished, kitchen is stocked with great equipment and cookware. Location is close to Webster NY with access to shopping and entertainment and still secluded overlooking the Lake. The Owners are responsive with any needs or issues. This is the second time we’ve stayed here and hope it can be any every year stay.

Stress-free environment with beauty beyond words

What a great place to get away and relax. Whatever you needed was that your fingertips. You couldn't find it the owner was so responsive. Would definitely recommend this VBRO. My parents and I had a wonderful stay at Abbeywood Cabin for the second time-- we've now stayed once in the fall, and once in the summer, and it was fun to see the cabin in both seasons. The view of the lake is amazing and we loved sitting out on the deck. We hope to come back again soon!

Our 4 day stay wasn’t long enough!

This cabin felt warm and welcoming from the time we stepped through the door. The kitchen is well equipped. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought into making their guests comfortable. Having two full baths was so helpful when we were all getting ready for my son’s wedding. The yard is not fenced, but they had a tie-out ready. The huge, gated back deck was nice to keep the dogs corralled while we hung out at the deck tables with our cocktails.Linda and Ralph had detailed, written instructions for anything we needed to operate.It was relaxing and fun to sit at the lake-facing window and do jigsaw puzzles during our down time and there was plenty of comfy couch seating for movie watching.My son’s wedding was wonderful and our stay at Abbeywood was icing on the (wedding!) cake. Beautiful cabin on the lake. Great setup to just relax and take in the views from the back yard. Fire pit in the backyard was perfect for making s'mores. A wonderful and relaxing stay for sure. In a perfect location as well. The cabin is away from all the fray and relaxing yet close enough for those trips to the store. Communication for booking and checkin process with the host was easy as well. Would definitely book again. Thanks!

Relaxing weekend to be near family

We chose this cabin because it was close to our son's home in Webster and we were able to bring our dog. It actually offered more than what I was looking for in a house. It is a beautiful log house right on Lake Ontario. The view is great. We did not have the best weather the first two days we were there, but the third day was sunny and clear. It was great to look out through the big windows at the lake.A surprise birthday party was planned for our son so we could not stay at his home. This was very close, and we helped make some of the preparations for the party during the day here on Saturday.The house was very clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed to cook and make our meals.We did get some time just to relax in this home. The TV worked great for us, and we also made time to sit and read.We would certainly recommend it as a great place to rent and would stay here again.
