Stress-free environment with beauty beyond words

What a great place to get away and relax. Whatever you needed was that your fingertips. You couldn't find it the owner was so responsive. Would definitely recommend this VBRO. Next time we're in that part of the country we will definitely check and hope that is beautiful log cabin home is available.

Happily Ever After

The house was in a perfect location as our daughter celebrated her wedding at the lakefront lodge. The house was spacious with a fully equipped kitchen. We enjoyed the deck and the view of the lake. It was a relaxed home for family to gather together.

My parents and I had a wonderful stay at Abbeywood Cabin for the second time-- we've now stayed once in the fall, and once in the summer, and it was fun to see the cabin in both seasons. The view of the lake is amazing and we loved sitting out on the deck. We hope to come back again soon!

Our 4 day stay wasn’t long enough!

This cabin felt warm and welcoming from the time we stepped through the door. The kitchen is well equipped. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought into making their guests comfortable. Having two full baths was so helpful when we were all getting ready for my son’s wedding. The yard is not fenced, but they had a tie-out ready. The huge, gated back deck was nice to keep the dogs corralled while we hung out at the deck tables with our cocktails.Linda and Ralph had detailed, written instructions for anything we needed to operate.It was relaxing and fun to sit at the lake-facing window and do jigsaw puzzles during our down time and there was plenty of comfy couch seating for movie watching.My son’s wedding was wonderful and our stay at Abbeywood was icing on the (wedding!) cake. Great cabin, location, and hosts!

Beautiful cabin on the lake. Great setup to just relax and take in the views from the back yard. Fire pit in the backyard was perfect for making s'mores. A wonderful and relaxing stay for sure. In a perfect location as well. The cabin is away from all the fray and relaxing yet close enough for those trips to the store. Communication for booking and checkin process with the host was easy as well. Would definitely book again. Thanks!

Relaxing weekend to be near family

We chose this cabin because it was close to our son's home in Webster and we were able to bring our dog. It actually offered more than what I was looking for in a house. It is a beautiful log house right on Lake Ontario. The view is great. We did not have the best weather the first two days we were there, but the third day was sunny and clear. It was great to look out through the big windows at the lake.A surprise birthday party was planned for our son so we could not stay at his home. This was very close, and we helped make some of the preparations for the party during the day here on Saturday.The house was very clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed to cook and make our meals.We did get some time just to relax in this home. The TV worked great for us, and we also made time to sit and read.We would certainly recommend it as a great place to rent and would stay here again.

Abbeywood is perfection!

My family and I stayed at Abbeywood for five days while we were in town for a swim meet. The house itself is gorgeous, clean, well-equipped, and so homey (and that view! Stunning!). The location is ideal, secluded enough to feel like a real retreat yet close enough to many things we needed (Wegmans, restaurants, etc). The owners were communicative throughout the entire process. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay and hope to return someday!

Absolutely breathetakimg property! Was very quiet, lots of animal life, and close enough to attractions! The beds were so comfortable and there were plenty of activities on sight to keep occupied! We will 100% be back!

Siblings connect for Christmas

We were very happy with our stay. My husband’s sister lives in the area and all the siblings came together for a late Christmas. The house was very clean and comfortable. Although it was cold, we enjoyed watching the waves out on the lake. Truly beautiful view. The kitchen was well equipped. We cooked part of our big dinner there at the house. I like the bigger Webster area too. Plenty of dining and shopping. We will definitely stay again when we’re in town

Lovely Cabin for the Holidays!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin on the lake. It felt like we were borrowing someone's home, from the table by the window perfect for a group puzzle to the small Christmas tree under and around which we could stack our presents. Our hosts were very thoughtful and wonderful communicators!

Beautiful cabin in a great location!

This is a wonderful place to stay with family. It is located close enough to Rochester to make a quick trip in while still being outside of the usual crowded places. The cabin itself is lovely and comfortable, and the view from the family room of the lake is spectacular!

Beautiful stay on the lake

We spent a few days here with four of our kids, three college age and one middle school age. The weather wasnt great but we all had a great time, including the dogs. The two who started college this year loved having a kitchen to use and make some of their favorites too. Our youngest said this was his favorite of all of the rentals we have stayed in!

Anniversary

We wanted somewhere nice and relaxing for our Anniversary and Abbeywood was the place. You can travel to several places for sightseeing easily from the cabin. But then you could just sit back and relax in the calming of the lake waters. It was perfect.
