Welcome to Waid N Sea, a beautiful 4-bedroom, 3-bath island home on the desirable high-and-dry side of North Captiva Island, just down the street from spectacular Butterfly Beach.

With a private heated saltwater pool, outdoor entertaining area, two complimentary golf carts, Safety Harbor Club amenities and optional boat dockage, Waid N Sea has everything you need for an unforgettable North Captiva vacation.

CHECK-IN, CHECK-OUT & MINIMUM STAYS

Check-in is at 4:00 PM or thereafter.
Check-out is by 9:00 AM.

During Prime Season, Spring Breaks and Holidays, Waid N Sea typically rents weekend-to-weekend with a 7-night minimum stay.

During non-prime periods, shorter stays and alternate check-in/check-out days may be available. Please send an INQUIRY before submitting a booking request if you need different dates or a shorter stay.

IMPORTANT TRAVEL INFORMATION

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance. North Captiva is a remote barrier island, and weather and transportation interruptions can affect travel plans.

Ferry transportation, private charters, marina parking, personal shopping and other third-party services are not included in the rental rate unless specifically stated otherwise.

Your two 4-person golf carts ARE included complimentary.

There are no cars on North Captiva Island. Transportation is by golf cart, bicycle or foot.

Waid N Sea includes two complimentary 4-person electric golf carts to explore the island, beaches and restaurants.

BOAT DOCKAGE AVAILABLE

Temporary boat dockage at Safety Harbor is available for approximately $60 per day additional, subject to availability.

Docks offer electric and water service. Boat registration and proof of insurance must be provided in advance. Please inquire early for dockage.

BEACHES & THINGS TO DO

Waid N Sea is just down the street from Butterfly Beach, known for its wide white-sand beach, Gulf views, shelling and sunsets.

Enjoy world-class fishing and shelling, swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, biking, State Preserve trails, boating and fishing charters.

Watch for dolphins, manatees, gopher tortoises and native birds. Rent a boat or fishing charter, visit Cabbage Key or simply spend the day on the beach.

ABOUT NORTH CAPTIVA ISLAND

North Captiva is an unspoiled remote barrier island off Southwest Florida. Approximately two-thirds of the island is State Preserve.

The island offers restaurants, bars, convenience items, ice cream, gifts, beach gear and boating services.

Boats and Fun offers boat and golf-cart rentals, fishing charters, bikes, kayaks, fishing gear and other island services.

There is no traditional full-size grocery store on North Captiva, so grocery planning before arrival is important.

GETTING TO NORTH CAPTIVA

North Captiva is accessible only by boat or private plane.

Most guests fly into RSW – Southwest Florida International Airport and travel to Safe Harbor Pineland Marina on Pine Island.

Guests can arrive by scheduled ferry, private water taxi/charter or their own boat.

Island Girl Charters is approximately a 30-minute ferry ride. Round-trip adult ferry fare is approximately $59.00. Children are less. Paid overnight marina parking is approximately $12.00 per day.

Ferry schedules and pricing can change, so please confirm current information before finalizing travel plans.

Ferry transportation, private charters and marina parking are paid separately by guests and are not included in the Waid N Sea rental rate.

Transportation information will be provided in your Waid N Sea Welcome Package after booking.

GROCERIES & ON-ISLAND CONCIERGE

Upon arrival, our on-island concierge will assist with transporting you, your luggage and groceries to Waid N Sea.

Grocery options include:

• Bring groceries on the ferry
• Arrange a personal shopper
• Have groceries stocked before arrival
• Arrange grocery delivery during your stay

Details will be included in your Waid N Sea Welcome Package. Personal shopping and grocery stocking may involve additional guest charges.

Our concierge can also assist with your departure.

SECURITY CAMERAS

In accordance with disclosure requirements, there are no interior or exterior security cameras at Waid N Sea.
