Dieses 2009 erbaute Bauernhaus im Norden von New Mexico ist ein Zuhause fĂŒr einen KĂŒnstler und Yachtbauer. Es befindet sich auf einem 7 Hektar großen, ruhigen GrundstĂŒck neben dem Fluss Chama. Entspannen Sie sich auf dem abgeschirmten Portal und genießen Sie die Musik des Flusses mit all seinen Wildtieren, um Sie zu unterhalten.

Well stocked kitchen. Beautiful home with nice decor. Lots of places to sit inside and out. The house accommodated 12 people well, even with only two bathrooms.

This may be the most stunning place we’ve ever stayed. The views, the property, the home are all amazing. To be spitting distance from the Chama was absolutely incredible. We are not big birders, yet were astounded by the variety swooping around us. The kitchen is generously stocked with every conceivable pot, pan & gizmo. The cupboards overflow with books & games, but what we liked best were the many places to hang out. The screened in porch beckons from dawn to dusk. The opportunities for “cozy” are numerous. The wood stove and fire pit were generously stocked with split wood and there are stacks of fluffy blankets and breathtaking views.For much of this, as well as handy advice, we were thankful for Rick, the on-site caretaker. He assured we had all we needed, provided useful information yet plenty of privacy.There aren’t many places I definitely want to return. This is at the top of my list.

An ideal spot for a weekend getaway. Loved the space and decor, being right in the water was just perfect. A very well stocked kitchen too! Would stay again if in the area.

Fantastic property

We had a great experience! The property was extremely cozy, clean, and absolutely beautiful. We (the owners) brought our employees for a small business retreat and getaway and this property was the perfect fit for us! Highly recommend. Will stay here again! Wonderful stay in nature!

We had a wonderful time in nature. The home design was great for our family. The kitchen is well-stocked, and we enjoyed cooking. The sounds of the river and birds were a delight as well as the fragrance of desert vegetation. We enjoyed watching birds play while listening to the water flowing. Making a fire was super easy with the wood stacked right beside the fire pit The location was great for the hiking we wanted to do. Highly recommend!

Beautiful cabin, beautiful location

Wonderful cabin with a relaxed, cozy vibe. We didn't stay long enough to enjoy all the features, but really nice setup for hanging out, including a fire pit and chairs overlooking the river.

Great property and location within a reasonable driving distance to Christ in the Desert Monastery, Chimayo, Santa Fe and Taos. Secluded and beautiful. The owners were communicative and the caretaker gave an added sense of protection and guidance.

Fun House - Nice Setting - Strategic Location

My family used the house as a base to explore Chaco Canyon, Ghost Ranch, Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad, and local area hiking and Taos. Aside from the great location, the house was clean, in a relaxing setting right by the Chama river, and had about every convienience you could want. I recomend this house.

Lovely, quirky house in a great location. Odd bedroom placement. Needs another bathroom (especially with ten adults). The natural setting makes up for quirks. Never knew cottonwoods could be this beautiful. Well-stocked kitchen. Freshly-split firewood.

Delightful high desert escape

Abiquiu is a remote community and the Lee’s house is a remote property. We relished the remoteness, mainly because we are from a big city. The adobe structure maintains temperature very well. The house has AC but it’s needed only on the warmest summer afternoons. The beds we’re comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and roomy. The kitchen was very well supplied with sharp knives, one thing I look for! Multiple coffee makers made mornings perfect. We ate our meals on the back screened porch as the Chama river flowed by. It could not have nicer. Coffee and cocktails by the river are a must. No wildlife except the neighborhood dog, Jango. Rick, the caretaker, was close by and he quickly fixed a breaker that had flipped in the bathroom. All in all a great summer getaway from a miserable Texas summer. I would definitely recommend and I plan to return next year.

Beautiful area, perfect place to relax and recharge

The house is very well stocked, we were happy to have all we needed in the kitchen- including 5 different ways to make coffee! The mini split A/C was fantastic too! If you bring a dog take note- there’s a house along the driveway (that’s about a half mile long) that has at least 4 dogs that are not fenced in. The first couple days we took my dog, who is super friendly, for his walk and these dogs came charging at us and sniffed my pup and barked and followed us until we passed their property. It was fine, but one dog started to get a little more aggressive sounding so we started driving past their house to then start our walk or run. Not a big deal, but just something to know if you’re bringing a dog and want to take them on a walk from the vrbo house. We also had been planning to use the twin bed in the covered porch area, but there was some mouse poop on it and lizards everywhere- again, to be expected in this lovely secluded area but just know you may not want to count on using that bed. Really loved staying here and would love to come back in the winter, I’ll bet it’s just gorgeous! 😍

Can’t say enough good things about this house, the property and the hosts! Gorgeous home with breathtaking views of the Chama and surrounding mountains, river access in the back yard. Very friendly, relaxed and helpful hosts. Comfy beds, luxurious showers and a very well stocked kitchen! Could not have asked for anything more from a rental!

Pleasure on the River

Bring your family, food, spirits and change of clothes and you are at HOME. From the bedrooms to the kitchen to the porches there is nothing to want for. All is there. Beautiful location is a large part of the charm but the work that the owners put into the home make it even more lovely. Artwork and books plus firewood on property. All utensils in the kitchen you could want for. All the dishes to hold that food, are there. The beds are super comfortable. The two bathrooms were fine for eight of us. The furnishings unique, as well. Their tap water was very good and they also supplied bottled drinking water. We only brought one son with his family along but we have more sons and more grands to show to this area. I highly recommend this property to view the amazing and enchanting New Mexico city of AbiquiĂș'.

On the river, sleeps 5 couples -plus an extra person on the screened portal, another on the window seat and another on the couch. And a queen futon in the studio. It has a nice kitchen with everything you need to enjoy your stay. There is a barbecue and seating on the river.
In the summer you can enjoy your meal on the screened portal.
