From New England Vacation Rentals- We normally hear from our guests how happy their stay was and how much they appreciate our communication including our emails welcoming all to the Cape with useful info from what to pack and how to enjoy their time on the Cape. It seems unfortunate for you that you neglected to familiarize your self with the homes description and our policies before booking this home. We do state in the homes description right up front if a home comes with linens or not. Bringing linens from home is truly a Cape Cod tradition. We have guests who have totes marked Cape Cod with their linens in them to bring every year. We also state that we do provide a guest started bag with toilet paper, paper towels and other single use items to get our guests started. Non of our homes provide hotel like amenities which is also stated on our website under guest services and in several emails sent to all guests. We want all guests to have a nice experience at our homes which is why we provide such thorough information.

The electrical issue in the bathroom and the grill temperature control have both been inspected and addressed. We apologize that these problems occurred during your visit and that our communication fell short. Regarding the cleaning fee and checkout guidelines, these are standard across our listings to help maintain the property’s high standards between guests. However, we certainly don’t intend for these instructions to feel intimidating, and we’ll be revising the language to make it clearer and more welcoming.
