In 1902 the Michigan Central Railroad opened Dowagiac's Historical Train Depot, built in a Tudor Revival Style. This would connect Dowagiac with the rest of the world and bring in the heart beat of this small spirited town.

Our Vintage Travel/Train themed Depot Cottage, just steps away from it, honors the glamour, flair, and history of this iconic landmark and the trains it has run. Convenience and luxury abound with vintage charm sure to capture your imagination.

We have everything you need to be home away from home with fully enclosed back yard for fur babies, fully stocked beautiful kitchen, spacious dining for all members of your family. Walking distance to everything you need including the charming downtown of Dowagiac with dining, entertainment, coffee shops, 24 hour gym, and shopping.

Leave your car at home and come by train! Or use the cottage as a home base for a quick convenient train trip into Chicago with direct fast service. Skip the traffic! Explore the historic train depot with its pot bellied stove museum, the industry of the 1900's that built Dowagiac, spend some time on the nature trails of Southwest Michigan College, explore the wine trail, or soak up the multiple Michigan beaches and all that pure Michigan has to offer.

The house is all yours with a fully enclosed backyard and large front porch and a basement laundry. The garage is off limits to guests.

Our Cottage is walking distance to everything you need. Shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel. Leave the car at home and come by train!

There are three rooms; one king, one queen, and one with two twins. If you would like to do a 7th or 8th guest the twin beds unstack to four. Each guest after six is an additional $35 charge.

Lockbox entry located next to the door by the garage. Code is sent the day of check in.
