Everything was perfect

This property was perfect - a great location and top-notch amenities! It was beautifully remodeled and tastefully decorated. Providing linen services, as well as beach towels, chairs and tags, was super convenient. We are hoping to return to the same place next year!

Fabulous House and Location

We had a wonderful stay at this beach house right off the boardwalk! It was the perfect spot for our three-generation family trip. The location couldn't be better—close to everything we wanted to explore. The comfortable furniture made it easy to relax after a day at the beach, and the house was well-equipped with all the essentials we needed. Whether we were enjoying breakfast on the porch or gathering in the cozy living area, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. This place truly made our family vacation special. Highly recommend!

Beautiful home in an amazing location!

My family (husband and 3 daughters) staying in this home for a long weekend. My husband had a show in the Music Pier (1 block away) and I celebrated my birthday! The home was VERY clean! They provided bath towels and linens which is a HUGE convenience! The home was modern, yet cozy. Beds were comfy. Bathrooms were modern and the high ceilings and sky lights made the home even brighter than it already was. I highly recommend! We did not need the trundle in the bunk room, but my daughter enjoyed it as a place for her stuffies to sit :) We enjoyed are stay very much and were happy to find this home. Five stars!!

The Board Walk

Property was newly renovated. Very nice kitchen, but lacks a pantry. A\C worked great. We had a van and it did not fit under the overhang in the driveway. Unfortunately this cost me a ticket. After that finding Street side parking was so so. I had nine 16-year-olds with me so I had a big rented van. Most any other vehicle would fit under the awning. The only other negative for me, and it is strictly my issue, is that it's three flights of stairs and I am partially handicapped so that was not easy all week especially trying to get groceries upstairs when the girls were at the beach or boardwalk. That's just me not doing my due diligence.

Missed the Mark

PROS: - Location! Just 1 block off boardwalk and beach. - Communication with owner(s). Easy texting with prompt responses. Willing to help out with everything we reached out about. - Nice, high-end finishes. CONS: - AC didn't work. Promptly sent out a tech who confirmed it needed to be replaced. Then sent 2 other companies out during our stay - 3 separate visits - to provide estimates for replacement. Owner confirmed in writing multiple times when the HVAC companies would be coming, so we left to accommodate only to learn they were actually coming the following day. They did give us a GC for breakfast to make up for the scheduling blunder. Luckily we had a cool week, but planning for 3 separate companies to come out while on vacation with a 2.5 year old wasn't fun. - Water in bath tub came out brown. - Door knob to the building fell off multiple times when trying to open it. - No lock on the sliding doors to the 3rd floor deck. Huge safety issue. - Horrible, rotting smell coming from the lower floor unit's garage. The people were checked out of that unit for days before their trash (and smell) was removed. - Hanging door mirrors not secured, very unsafe and banged every time you used door. - Forgot a sweater, contacted them within 24 hours (before anyone else checked-in) with exact location and was told it wasn't found. - Checked out 1 day early due to issues and asked for any kind of refund for the day. Only offered discount for next booking and no $ back.

I’d like to provide some clarification on a few points. From the moment we learned about the AC issue, we worked diligently to get it addressed as quickly as possible to minimize any discomfort for you and your family. We sent out multiple contractors, as you noted, to gather the necessary estimates and get the HVAC system replaced. While we understand that scheduling work during a vacation can be disruptive, you agreed to allow the contractors to come out so that we could address the issue immediately. We also provided a breakfast gift card to apologize for the inconvenience. Regarding your other concerns, we take safety and cleanliness seriously and always aim to maintain our properties to the highest standards. The brown water was a result of the contractor using the wrong hardware even though it’s a brand new tub, and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention so we can get it immediately resolved. As for the refund, it's important to note that you requested compensation despite staying for the full duration of your reservation (apart from checking out one day early), which we interpreted as an attempt to seek a free stay. While we understand that not every stay is perfect, we communicated with you throughout the process, provided solutions, and even offered a discount on a future stay as a gesture of goodwill. We remain committed to providing excellent guest experiences and are constantly improving. Thank you for your understanding.
