Rarely does a property exceed expectations as the Summerland retreat. From being welcomed by informative staff, to spacious rooms, ample parking to amazing grounds, views and access to beautiful beach supplied with every beach amenity possible. Only drawback is strict low limits on number of guests on property. Though that meant we got to enjoy the experience by ourselves. We will return!

The location is hard to beat. The beachfront setting, incredible views, and beautifully maintained landscaping made this a wonderful place to stay. The outdoor gathering spaces were especially great for our group and provided plenty of room to relax and enjoy the surroundings.A few small details are worth noting for future guests. There is no air conditioning, which may be common for homes in this area, but the bedrooms only had portable and box fans. The rooms could get warm at night, especially during warmer weather. Additionally, the downstairs bedroom, which is detached from the rest of the house, had a slight musty smell upon arrival, though it improved after being aired out.Despite these minor issues, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Summerland.

Phenomenal ocean views and daily morning visits by the dolphins! Property Mgt company was very attentive and easy to get ahold. Would definitely stay here again.

No Better Place on the Beach

This property is phenomenal. We’ve not stayed in a better spot. Beautiful home, terrific beach, nice town, everything you need for a week or weekend getaway. Highly recommend!

Spring Break

Great location in the cute little town of Summerland, so close to Santa Barbara. Relaxing outdoor space to sit and enjoy the sounds of the waves and easy access to the beach. The house had everything we needed to enjoy our time near Santa Barbara.

Fantastic House and Grounds on the ocean

Three generations spent three nights here celebrating an 80th birthday. House is fully equipped and in perfect condition. Grounds are manicured with flowers, shrubs and trees perched along the cliff above the ocean. All very impressive.

One of the best rentals ever!

My family and I frequently rent homes for vacations and this was one of the best we’ve ever experienced. The location was perfect and the home was stunning and had literally everything we could possibly have wanted and then some. We will be back!

Excelent house. Very well equipped and decorated. Views are stunning. Large bedrooms with plenty of privacy. Great outdoor areas with multiple patios an beach access. Large living room area and very well equipped kitchen. Has everything you need to spend a great vacation at the beach

Spectacular House!

This property delivered everything as advertised, and more! Only 2 issues: firstly, it is located right next to a train line; second, despite the enormous space inside and outside the house, you are only permitted 10 people at any given time (and the management has cameras to verify!).

Family reunion vacay

The property was beautiful and the location was spectacular. Plenty of room for the nine of us to enjoy our stay. The only drawback was that it was difficult for our mother who walks with a cane to navigate the steps and walkways to the lower levels to enjoy the outdoor space and the beach and and it would have been nice if all of the outside landscaping lighting was on in the evenings. Otherwise we had a wonderful time!
