The property was not clean. It had a smell that you could smell before walking into the door. The floors were coming up all in the house. The bunkbeds were nasty and the frames were all beat up. The back bedroom was tiny and you couldn’t even turn around in the hall or hall bathroom. Owner was notified and we found a new place to stay. She said pics and discription of house and dimensions were labeled . Pictures didn’t show any of the flaws and the dimensions were not listed , I went back and reread the description. It just said tiny beach bungalow! Oh it’s tiny all right and not nice at all. Would not recommend and she would not even talk about a refund!

The house was great for our needs! Main bedroom and bathroom were a great size. Second bedroom was small but suited our needs just fine. My son loved the bunks and the second bathroom was great to have. The kitchen has very up to date appliances, nice cookware, Keurig, toaster and air fryer! Every space is utilized expertly to get the most out of the home and we had room for our XL dog crate. The incredible golf cart is such a nice touch! We couldn’t figure out how to use the outdoor tv, but it wasn’t even an issue enough for us to contact the host :). Also, the location was perfect with the ability to easily walk to a fishing pond, sandy mart and the water park. We love ocean lakes and finding a great home that allows dogs is a huge bonus for us! Thank you for sharing your space with us :)

So adorable and close to EVERYTHING

We had an amazing stay. The house is so adorable and clean. Communication with the owner was extremely easy. The location is close to EVERYTHING yet off the Main Street making you feel like you are alone when inside which is wonderful when you’re resting. We hope to stay next year and bring our dogs. Great stay at Ocean Lakes!

Property was exactly as described. Decor was very tasteful; many rental homes at the beach looks like a Home Goods threw up, but this one was very tastefully done. Second bathroom was very tiny, but size of the main bath made up for that. Washer and dryer worked well and the dishwasher was a nice surprise. Would definitely stay again!

Great Vacation Spot

The house was just right for 3 adults, child and a dog. The table was great for family games late into the night. The couch was so comfortable, it was a struggle to stay awake once you sat down on it after a day at the beach! The owner was quick to respond to all my questions before our trip and during our stay. Ocean Lakes had more things to do than we could manage to get to, even with being there for a week!

Will definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Cute house, we went down because our son had a baseball tournament, we wanted to bring our dog so we didn’t want a hotel room. Everything was just as listed. I did have to text the owner (because I confused myself) but she responded right away with a phone call.

Very nice little house.

We had a great time on our stay. The house is a little smaller than the pictures make it seem, but it was fine for the 6 of us. My only 'complaint' would be that the 2nd bathroom is tight. It isn't made for larger people.

Owner was amazing. Floor was not the best. It was not mentioned the state of the flooring. One bedroom had a remote light and fan...remote was not where it was supposed to be. We had to search for it. Which was the last renters fault, not the owners. But while searching for it...

Adorable beach house!

We had a wonderful stay! Danielle was an amazing host and the house was very clean upon arrival. Everything worked and the tv had lots of streaming options. The golf cart was a wonderful added bonus! We absolutely love ocean lakes and this house was perfect for our stay! The only things I would say we didn’t like were that the mattress pads and comforters weren’t clean enough to use without washing, but that is to be expected at any rental - we brought our own bedding and would recommend that. Overall 10/10 and would stay again! Thank you Danielle!
