The home is cozy and there are several thoughtful touches that are very welcoming. The bed was so comfortable! The close proximity to the downtown/pier made it an easy bike ride. We are not used to riding our bikes on busy roads but the bike lanes are clearly marked and the drivers are very courteous, our experience was very positive.

It is a two-bedroom rental, and while it’s thoughtfully laid out, it is designed to be cozy and efficient rather than oversized. The shower is a standard city-style shower, and the listing photos accurately reflect the space so guests can see the layout before booking. The property is located in the heart of the city, so as with most urban areas, there can be some road noise during rush hour. Many guests choose this location specifically for its bikeability, pickleball nearby, walkability and convenience to downtown restaurants, shops, waterfront and attractions, rather than as a secluded retreat. I truly appreciate you staying with us and wish you the best in finding accommodations that better match your preferences in the future.

The unit is small and too much/too large furniture made it very tight. The shower is ridiculously small with elbows touching both walls when raised. The bathroom sink, while attractive, is inefficiently designed. Three small drawers in the vanity and not one shelf for personal items. The outside front yard is swimming in leaves. The outdoor furniture is dated and uninviting. Overall, a tough stretch to be a value. Rate is too high for conditions.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry the home did not meet your expectations. The property was professionally redesigned about a year ago with a clean, modern style, including the bathroom and vanity shown in the listing photos. The vanity is a 36-inch three-drawer unit, which typically provides sufficient storage for shorter stays. If additional storage had been needed during your three-night visit, I would have been happy to provide one of the rolling storage carts I keep on hand for guests. The home was originally built in 1910, so some areas — particularly bathrooms — are naturally smaller than newer construction, which is also reflected in the photos in the listing. Regarding the yard, your stay happened to coincide with a significant wind event that dropped a large number of oak leaves that weekend. Landscaping is serviced weekly, and the yard was cleaned shortly after. The patio furniture is intentionally handcrafted reclaimed wood seating from a local St. Petersburg gallery, (the treehouse gallery) chosen for its artistic style and durability for outdoor coastal weather. We appreciate the feedback and always continue working to provide a comfortable stay for our guests.

Very comfortable stay in St. Pete

This stay in St. Pete was great. Lisa was a great host that has everything covered for your stay. We arrived to find a very cute home with a great layout. There is an outdoor patio with a bags game. The kitchen has everything we needed to cook! The place was very clean and comfortable. We even had bikes to go out exploring. The beds were wonderful! We will definitely be staying here again on our next visit. Thank you, Lisa!
