Big disappointment
This property has a lot to be desired. The neighborhood is not a very good neighborhood at all. The house itself is an older house that the owner has tried to cover up the age. The driveway is pretty small. We had a midsized SUV & it fit snugly. The layout is odd; not really any kind of open flow. Upon immediate entry to the house we noticed a foul odor. At first I thought that maybe it was just the smell of an old house. My daughter immediately suspected the smell of something dead perhaps in the wall somewhere. After we had been there for a few hours we started noticing some flies; more than just the amount that might enter the house as you open and close the door. It didn’t take much longer to realize that the amount of flies was increasing. The flies were centralized in the laundry room; although we were definitely seeing them throughout the home. My husband literally battled the HUGE flies for about 1 1/2 hours! It was unbelievable! It seemed like the flies kept multiplying. I did contact the company and basically I got an apology and they said someone would be sent out first thing the next day. I was finally contacted late in the afternoon the next day (not first thing in the morning as I was told). They asked permission for the maintenance man to come inspect the issues. Smell & fly problem was not resolved. I think it was sewage. SEVERAL other issues but can’t fit the words. BAD experience for us. No compensation from company yet either!
