Welcome to your home away from home in Montgomery, Alabama! Located in the charming Capitol Heights neighborhood, this cozy bungalow is just minutes from downtown, Maxwell-Gunter Air Force Base, and Alabama State University — perfect for business trips, base visits, or a relaxing getaway.

Sleeping up to 5 guests, the home features 3 comfortable bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms with an updated kitchen. Two bedrooms have queen beds, and the third has a twin bed with access to the half bath. The living room couch also converts into a double bed for extra sleeping space.

Pets are welcome for a $100 fee per stay. Please note additional cleaning charges may apply for excessive pet hair or improperly cleaned pet waste.

I couldn't find any of the linens upon arrival, I later found them in the dryer. The drain in the bathroom was a little slow to drain but other than that we had a nice stay. Beds were comfortable, neighborhood was quiet. Very pleased.

Pleased with the experience

Neighborhood is very peaceful and quiet. The house was perfect formy husband, myself and the in-laws. We needed to be close to Maxwell Air force base for the trip and the home is ideally located.

Great little place to stay

I stayed here for a week while attending a training at Troy University and I loved the house, location, and coziness. The only drawback was the front and back lawn was super overgrown. It looked like the grass hadn't been cut for a couple of weeks. Other than that, I have no complaints and if I'm down that way, I'd stay there again!

Montgomery visit

Property is accurately listed. Located in a nice quiet neighborhood, it was what I would expect from a house of its age in regard to floors and the rooms. Kitchen was very nice and I really enjoyed the house. I was just there for a conference but at the end of the day it was nice to get to the house and have peace and quiet. I would definitely stay here again.

The minute we entered we found a gecko running around, and there was mouse traps and bed sheets and pillows were dirty, and the towles old and dirty, we left right away and booked a hotel room

Overall good place to stay but definitely has bugs that get in even if you keep all the doors clothes and windows shut. There were 2 really big cockroaches among other 2 other insects we had to kill. Not a total big deal just something i’d point out. Other than that it was nice which is why i gave 4 starts instead of 5.

Vrbo property was not as advertised and was not in acceptable condition. Unfortunately, the condition of the home made it impossible for us to comfortably remain there, and we chose to leave early rather than spend a second night.The property had numerous issues that significantly affected our stay, including:* A dead fly inside the refrigerator.* Trash that had not been removed before our arrival.* A dead vine hanging in the window.* A roach inside the home.* Obvious water damage around the bathtub, which gave the bathroom an unclean and poorly maintained appearance.* The listing advertised accommodations for five guests, yet there was only one washcloth available.* A driveway that was in very poor condition.* What appeared to be mold or heavy moss growth on the front of the house, creating a neglected and uninviting first impression.We rented this property expecting a clean, safe, and comfortable place to stay. Instead, the conditions fell well below reasonable expectations and did not reflect the listing. Because of these issues, we decided to leave the property early. I contacted the host the evening we arrived and got a response that showed she/he clearly did not read the message sent. What concerns me just as much is Vrbo’s responsibility in ensuring that properties listed on its platform meet reasonable standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and accuracy. As a customer, I rely on Vrbo to screen and vet the properties it advertises.
