We really enjoyed our three-night stay here while exploring Mount Desert Island! The cabin was cozy, comfortable and incredibly quiet—it really felt like we were tucked away in the Maine woods, yet we were conveniently located for everything we wanted to do.We loved having a little market right nearby, and Atlantic Brewing/Mainly Meat BBQ directly across the street was a huge bonus! Travelin’ Lobster was also just up the road. We were within Acadia and had easy access to Bar Harbor, Southwest Harbor, Cadillac Mountain, the Park Loop Road and all the other places we wanted to explore.After spending our days hiking, sightseeing and taking in Acadia, it was wonderful to come back to such a peaceful little cabin in the woods. Check-in and check-out were simple, and everything about our stay was easy and comfortable.If you’re looking for a cozy, quiet home base for exploring Acadia and Mount Desert Island, this is a great spot.

Perfect spot for our family

Honestly this was probably the cleanest place I’ve stayed in quite some time. 10 minutes from everything, small grocery store and brewery across the street. Will be staying again.

Great stay in Acadia

We stayed at the Marshal cabin, it was clean, very comfortable and had everything we needed for a family of 5. The kids especially liked the bunk bed and the ping pong table in the common area. It’s close to Bar harbor and Acadia national park. Look no further, this is the place to stay!

Cozy cabin

This is a cozy cabin and just right for the three of us. We got to stay one night, but would’ve loved to have stayed more and enjoy all the amenities that were offered.

Great little cabin close to the activity of Acadia and bustle of Bar Harbor, but seemingly miles away from anywhere! Two bedrooms were perfect for my husband and I and our adult son. Bed were comfy, kitchen well stocked and the living/dining area nice for just unwinding at the end of the day. There is a fire pit area too that looked good for relaxing in the evening, but we weren’t there long enough to take advantage of it.

Beautiful cottage

Excellent location for exploring Acadia and Bar Harbor. Construction going on next door was noisy but once that is finished shouldn’t be an issue. Cottage was lovely, brand new and just right for our family of four. We’ll be back!

Amazing!

We just got back from a trip to Maine and staying in Marshall Cottage #8. We loved it there! The cottage was very well maintained and very clean and comfortable. Checking in and out was easy and our hosts were very responsive to messages. The cottage was just minutes away from Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. I highly recommend Acadia Woods Cottages and hope to stay there in the future!

Acadia Woods Cottages

The cottage is very cozy. The kitchen and bathroom are very well equipped including a full size washer and dryer. The bedrooms are small but fine overall. There is a nice community space with a ping pong table and corn hole as well as a community fire pit. The host gave us a tip on the local Downeast Lobster Pound which was great and cheaper than what is nearer to Bar Harbor.

Maine 2024

Cabin was very clean and accommodating. Property was nice. In our second and third day it was rainy and overcast. Cabin got cold and damp. It needs a dehumidifier for days like that. Our pillows were damp the next day when we checked out. Other than that it was great!

The cabin was even nicer in person than in the pictures. The location was quiet and peaceful. I would come back and recommend this to anyone who's traveling to the Bar Harbor area.
