Looking for lots of Space and a great Location? This is it! Welcome to 1453 Delaware Ave in Cape May, a captivating water view retreat! This 2,100 sq ft house boasts a view of the harbor that can be enjoyed from its 800 sq ft living/dining/entertainment space with vaulted ceilings or by stepping out one of its 2 over-sized sliding glass doors onto its 10 ft by 32 ft furnished deck.The property is across the street from the Fishermen's Memorial Park. Through its short path you'll find one of Cape May's hidden treasures: a free and public beach on the harbor where you can relax in your beach chairs and watch boats go by or delight in water activities like kayaking and paddle boarding. Rentals are available right up the road by the Nature Center (a great excursion for both little and big kids). Whether you partake in this hidden gem (Fishermen's beach) or head to the Ocean 10 blocks away, when you return, you can rinse off in the private outdoor shower. With 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, this property comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests. For your convenience, all 3 bedrooms are situated on the first floor, ensuring easy accessibility. The master bedroom features a King-sized bed and an attached en suite for added privacy. The second bedroom is furnished with a comfortable Queen bed, while the third bedroom offers a pyramid bunk and an additional Twin bed. There is a bonus room nestled between the first and second floors that has a comfy sofa and a desk w/ monitor, providing a perfect space for those seeking a blend of business and leisure. Upstairs, the second floor unfolds into a spacious open concept living with a sectional, over-sized swivel chair, Queen sofa bed, ½ bath, eat-in-kitchen, and dining area. The cathedral ceiling and skylight add an airy, expansive feel to the space. Step outside onto the large deck to savor your morning coffee or indulge in an evening cocktail, all while soaking up being steps from the water. There is full access to the garage where you will find beach supplies, a foos ball table, cornhole, and plenty of space for your items. We enjoyed our stay in your wonderful house so much. It had everything we needed to relax and enjoy each other’s company. The view from the deck was such a great treat. The location is great for taking walks and sight seeing. The neighbors were very nice too. I will definitely be back.

The location is perfect if you have a loved one graduating from the USCG boot camp. So convenient to the base. You don’t have to worry about traffic getting to graduation events and, as a bonus, you can see the base from the family room windows and deck. Beautiful view of the harbor.Shops and the beach are a short walk or drive away.

Everything was good, we experienced some problems with checking in as the door key pad didn’t work but someone immediately came to help. It was a overall great stay my only review is you have to pay separate for towels which for us was a bit inconvenient since we flew frontier and couldn’t pack it and it doesn’t say until after you book your Vrbo and before you actually have to pay. But overall it was amazing and super close to the coast guard base where we went to see my brother’s graduation. Also it has a foseball table in the garage which was the best part of the entire stay we played for hours.

Quick trip

We booked a long weekend in the off season with little notice. The rental agency was wonderful and accommodating. We would stay there again.

Family getaway

The house was clean and well stocked. We loved the location near the Fisherman's park and ease of getting to the beach. I wish the rental included beach tags required for NJ beaches.

Family Christmas in Cape May

The property was exactly s described; perfect for our family get-together for the holiday. It was roomy, comfortable, beautifully appointed, had all that we needed & the owner went out of her way to get a few items that I needed for baking as well as decorating for the holiday for us! Lovely stay

We had a great time at this property! We rented with our best friends to celebrate the Christmas season in cape May! The kids had the best time in the huge family room playing games. The dining room fit us all! It was a super short ride to all the action down town. Home was clean and decorated so cute for Christmas! Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful house

Such a beautiful house and an extremely homey feeling. They had games to play with the family and it came stocked with cleaning and laundry supplies which was a pleasant surprise. The host was extremely accommodating and understanding as well. I recommend this property to anyone.

Amazing stay

This property was beautiful and roomy. It was fully stocked with the essentials and so much more. They had corn hole which we absolutely had a blast playing. Very clean and awesome for our family of five adults. If we needed anything or had questions the response was immediate. The owner thought of everything and had little binders about all restaurants and great things to do. Would absolutely recommend to all and want to thank the owners for an amazing vacation. 10 STARS

Rest of my complaints regarding the fact that you have to bring your sheets towels, hairdryer, and basically everything you need. It’s quite onerous.

Cape May Escape

The home was immaculate and in a great location. It was a perfect setting for the three of us to enjoy a "girls getaway." The primary bedroom is spacious with a large bathroom. The other bedrooms worked well and the hall bath is quite nice as well. Upstairs is spacious with lots of windows and a lovely deck. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything one might need. We only had breakfast there but there were plenty of plates, glasses, wine glasses, bowls, etc. The wifi worked well. We did not use the tv. It was a very short drive into town and to the beach. I definitely would recommend this property.
