Dieses zweistöckige Haus ist ein idealer Ort für ein Familientreffen oder eine unvergessliche Urlaubsfeier direkt über dem Sand von Rockaway Beach. An der Nordseite des Hauses verläuft ein hübscher kleiner Bach, der den Gästen etwas mehr Privatsphäre bietet, und die charmanten Geschäfte und Restaurants der Stadt erwarten eine halbe Meile nördlich. This home was very comfortable for 13 adults and 4 kids under 5 years old. Another bathroom would have been nice, but... The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes and cookware. The best kitchen we've ever had. Only needed a small saucepan. A few issues, the ice maker and water on the fridge didn't work and the master bathroom light annoyingly flickers.I hear the grill was difficult. Cleaning wise, it could have been searched better for former guests belongings (toothpaste tubes, clothing) but was overall pretty clean. With all that said, we would rent it again in a heartbeat and hope we can!

Awesome views right on the beach

We loved this large home right on the beach! Waking up to the sounds and beautiful views of the ocean was wonderful. We wish they would have maintained and cleaned it better, but we still had an awesome time there and would return again.

Great Family Home

The customer service was phenomenal. Absolutely any issue we had was addressed professionally, politely and timely. A couple of things couldn't be fixed, like the lack of ice and water from the fridge. But, everything else was addressed immediately, including mgmt wanting to send a housekeeping team to straighten a messy closet. Yes, there are a few cosmetic issues, like dings and need for a little painting and repair, but nothing major. Our biggest issues was the lack of screens, which prevented us from opening the windows since flies and bees would come in. Our family group of 23, with 11 kids!, really enjoyed staying here. There was lots of room. We made the 3 bathrooms situation work and I don't recall ever having to wait to use the bathroom, though I did have to go to a different bathroom a few times. My 1st choice wasn't always available. The proximity to the beach, town and walking trails was awesome. We walked to the historic train and we loved being able to just wander with everything within a 15 minute walk. The house was extremely well stocked with an abundance of sheets, pillows, pillow cases, blankets, kitchenware, spices, etc. The furniture is comfortable. This is just a great property and a great management team. I'm very happy we stayed here. My entire family talked about how much we enjoyed this property. Thank you!

Good location

Good location right on the beach. The house was clean and comfortable but as stated in previous reviews, the place is run down and needs work. Paint, furniture, flooring, etc are in pretty bad shape. Having said that, it's not the kind of place where you have to worry about damaging some expensive part of the house or furniture. Communication was great.

Had a great time with our family!

Upon check in, we had some issues with the rooms being locked and had to be walked through over the phone in order to open the doors so we could get settled in. Overall stay was great and had plenty of room for the family. Property right on the beach made for some amazing memories. Wish the beds were a tad more comfortable- but overall great place.

Hairball Haven: Great Views, Questionable Hygiene

While the views were absolutely stunning, the property itself was a huge disappointment. The house was dirty and neglected, with dust and grime in every corner. The kitchen, bathrooms, and floors looked like they hadn’t been properly cleaned in ages, making it hard to feel comfortable. Not to mention we could not get a single tv working . Such a shame because the location and views were fantastic, but the lack of cleanliness really ruined the vibes. You can tell the owner probably hasn’t visited the property in some time as there were many issues that need addressed ie chipping paint broken appliances, broken hot tub cover, broken front porch tiles ….. just to name a few.

House needs work- safety hazard!

Loved location, house had plenty of room. However this house needs major interior work done so many broken things & is a safety hazard! The sliding door panel fell out knocked my grandson over, thanking our lucky stars the baby (no baby in the Walker) Walker took the fall of door otherwise would crush him!!!!

The property has tons of room. If you have elderly in need of easy access this is not the place to stay. There are lots of stairs. The stairs going into the property need to be fixed even able body people have to be careful. The queen beds need a step for elderly people to get into the beds. The main sliding door you need a very strong person to be able to open it. The fireplace we turned off even after they came to fix it you could still smell gas and we didn’t want anyone to get sick. The main microwave doesn’t work. Even after all that…it’s a GREAT HOUSE! The room for kids to play and everyone to sit down and eat is wonderful. The ocean view is fantastic from inside to outside on the deck. The public access to the beach is right on the left side of the house looking out at the ocean.” It is steep but can be done with walking sticks and going down side ways. There is so much available to use at this house check before you haul anything down. Enjoy your stay!

Dirty and broken, but great location

This place has so much potential, but unfortunately the property has been neglected. The house is extremely overdue for a deep cleaning. I felt uncomfortable letting my toddle play around the house as the floors, baseboards, walls, door and window tracks were all disgusting. When we arrived it was clear someone mopped, but missed a lot of spots. There was a big sticky spot on the floor near the kitchen. The front driveway was flooded and muddy, and the stairs were coming apart making it hard for our older family members to get in and out. Inside the washer and dryer was also gross. The ignitor for the bbq didn’t work and the grill was gross, the fireplace didn’t work, and we couldn’t find the directTV remote for the TV in the living room. One of the smoke alarms batteries died, so was beeping constantly. I got a call asking me to light the pilot light for the fireplace, which I could have but this is my vacation, I was there to not have to work on anything. Online support was not helpful, and responded without fully reading my comments The location was great, but be aware there’s little privacy due to being right next to public beach access. Easy walking to the little town, beach, or a hike through a preserve. This place was not cheap, but if they just spent one week of profits on cleaning and maintenance it would be well worth it.

50th birthday party

The house is in need of some major maintenance. For the amount of money that I spent, the house should be kept in better condition. The hot tub jets didn’t work, the sliding glass door is difficult to slide open and closed, and many things were loose and not functioning correctly. The list could go on and on. The location was the one thing that we enjoyed. Take some of the money and do some maintenance on the home. Also, the front of the house tiles as you go up the stairs were loose and broken which is a fall risk. The foosball table players are not stationary so it is pointless to have.

Spacious but need some repairs.

This is a nice big house. The pictures are deceiving. It has a lot of cosmetic damage. One of the burners on the stove wouldn't light. The pans were all scratched and damages. One of the blinds were broke and tied up. The back sliding door had to be lifted and slid to close but it was so heavy some of us had to get help to shut it. The tiles on the porch stairs are broken and chipped and my daughter tripped and almost fell. The hot tub was amazing and the house is big and felt like a castle to the little kids.

HORRIBLE!! FOR MY WEDDING!!!

This was the worst experience staying at this place, I had my 50 person wedding here and the pictures were absolutely nothing like the house or beach, this is a scam and I intend to get all my money back. Tried contacting the host for over 3 months and no response, no beach access, rocks are placed all around the house. It depicted in photos and I had to change my whole wedding ceremony and reception bc of this. Not to mention the beach patrol gave us a $450 fine because of the parameters and this was due to the rocks we had no idea that were there. Luckily we made the best out of the beautiful beach and it was an amazing wedding but we could not use the house and I was had by VACASA. Never stay here. Nothing works everything is broken. Don’t trust these people.

Big 47th Birthday weekend with friends. Kids, teens, adults and we got to bring our dog. The house was comfortable and views and location was fantastic.
