Large covered back porch looks out to the lake...Enjoy your morning coffee and brilliant sunrises or sipping your favorite beverage under a romantic moonrise. A fenced-in backyard is available for your pets. Two kayaks and a canoe are available for your enjoyment (PFDs included).

We cannot say enough good things about our stay at this property. The host was responsive and kept us informed. The house was as described in the listing. We travel with our dog and loved that this property had a large fenced in backyard. We really enjoyed being able to take the kayaks out on the lake as well as being bordered by the national forest.

Amazing Secluded Lake Retreat

We wish we could have stayed longer at this little piece of paradise. The lake is pristine and it's awesome to have The Ocala National Forest at your doorstep. The house was just as advertised, we had plenty of space with 6 people.

Place as advertised, matched the pictures. Spacious. Very clean. Location was great (secluded as we like). Pet friendly and the partially fenced in backyard was a great bonus.Host (Tom G.) was easily accessible when needed. He was proactive in prepping for rare (for Florida) below temps (even dropped off an extra new portable heater just in case).

Peaceful Place!

We rented this quiet lakefront property as a launch pad for hiking sections of the Florida Trail through the Ocala Forest. It was an excellent place for this and the host was great at communicating! We highly recommend it!

Wonderful!

My family and I had a wonderful time! It was exactly what we were looking for. The property was peaceful and I loved sitting out the porch watching a family of sandhill cranes. It was super close to Juniper springs which was a major plus for us! Overall it was agreat place to stay.

Our stay at Wild Wood Lake Retreat was truly the relaxing getaway we needed. The lake and surrounding woods were absolutely beautiful, and it truly felt like you were in the middle of nowhere. The house was cute, clean, and well-stocked with pretty much anything you might need. The hosts were quite accommodating and provided clear instructions and expectations. We were very pleased with our stay and would 100% book again. Thank you, Tom and Mary!
