Birds’ Eye Review

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This rental is located within walking distance of the downtown area and is without all the associated traffic. Parking is more than adequate for this rental. The open air covered balcony with the jacuzzi and pool table would be a great amenity if it wasn’t for the territorial Robin that was upset with the bedroom window reflections. This bird would not stop from hitting all the windows and our vehicle, waking us up in the early morning and then his number on everything. Fortunately the pool table has a cover and the vehicle can be cleaned up but it became rather annoying - nothing that management can handle.
Antwort von VrboOwner am 16. Juni 2026
Thank you for your review! We are glad you enjoyed the convenient location, ample parking, and the covered balcony amenities. We do apologize that your stay included an unexpected visit from a very determined robin! While wildlife can occasionally add some extra excitement to a mountain getaway, we appreciate your understanding that this was beyond our control. We truly hope to welcome you back for another enjoyable stay in the future!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location was great. Cabin was beautiful. Got to see bears playing and hanging out in the cemetery next door. Will definitely stay here again.

Best honeymoon!!

This is the cutest small house, perfect for a couple!! We were both very impressed. My husband loved the rustic aspect, and I loved the luxury aspect, with the beautiful shower, amazing hot tub, and the best bed I have ever slept in!! Our favorite part was being within walking distance from the downtown strip. We love being able to walk and go eat anywhere at whatever time!!

Close to the action!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we had a great stay. The cabin is wonderful and we had no issues with check in/ check out. The only problem we had was noise. Music plays all day right below the cabin, it's not super loud but can be heard from inside the cabin. Also, I was woken up before 4am on Wednesday morning to very loud banging which turned out to be the trash service dumping the dumpsters up and down the strip, this went on for quite a while. If you won't be there on a Wednesday night and you want to be in the middle of the action, close to the strip, this cabin is perfect. We were there for our honeymoon and would've liked a little more quiet and privacy.
Antwort von VrboOwner am 17. März 2026
Thank you for your thoughtful review and for choosing our cabin for such a special occasion—congratulations on your honeymoon! We are so glad to hear you enjoyed the cabin itself and that check-in and check-out went smoothly. We do appreciate you mentioning the noise concerns. Being located close to the strip does make the cabin very convenient for guests who want to be near the action, but it can occasionally come with some background activity, including music from nearby venues and scheduled trash service in the early morning hours. Your feedback is helpful, and we will be sure to note the Wednesday pickup timing for future guests so they can plan accordingly. We truly appreciate you staying with us and sharing your experience, and we hope you will consider visiting again in the future—perhaps for an anniversary trip where we can help recommend a quieter cabin option that offers a bit more privacy.

We saw a sow with three cubs on the first day and at least one bear every day we were there.
