Rooms were clean and nice! I was able to do what I needed to do and have fun. I felt the security at the compound were a little over exuberant about their job, but the hotel made accommodation to fix any issues a guest might have.

The furniture needs updating. The mattresses are very uncomfortable. The couch is completely wore out. We had to put towels down for the kitchen table chairs because they hurt to sit on. Not enough seating in living room for a family of 4. The master bedroom dresser handles are all broken. This condo needs updating in a severe way.

While this condo was reasonably priced for our needs, I would have avoided it altogether if I had known the issues that were waiting for us. Before even checking in I was alerted the guests before us had broken the dryer, and that our family would have to wait until they could get a technician out there. I understand mishaps occur, but what I did not feel was fair is that we were not given any discounts/accommodations for how this would affect our trip. In fact the property manager even said, since part of our party was local we should have no problem finding somewhere to do laundry. I don't know about you, but I wouldn't want to spend a portion of my trip finding ways to correct an issue that should have never been there in the start!!! Upon arrival to the apartment we were greeted with numerous amounts of damages. Boogie boards were all broken, blinds were so broken they didn't close, the fridge wasn't properly cooling, and the dishwasher was heavily leaking every time it ran. Amidst all these issues the seating options were sunken in and the couch smelled musty. Needless to say, we were unhappy with a good majority of this condo and would not recommend it. To end on a positive note, the times we called to report issues I spoke with Ms. Chai. She excellently represented her company, and provided compassion and reported the previous damages!

Condo was very clean. There was a few little things like the dishwasher raxk wanted to come off and the outside doors to the balcony didn’t lock and there was some panels missing from the bedroom balcony window so it wouldn’t close but overall it was great. I’d stay again. The view was phenomenal.

Fun Family Time

We had a great time and the weather was great with partly cloudy and very little rain! Summerwinds Condo is in a great location and Navarre Beach was family oriented. The only negative was that our pool and hot tub was over crowded while he other two buildings had hardly no one in them. We were able to drive short distances to go to the Gulfarium and go on a dolphin sightseeing tour including swimming at crab island (sand bar) in Ft: Walton and to eat some great seafood in Destin.

April 2019 Stay

Had an amazing time on Navarre Beach. The condo was perfect for our family, so comfortable and very well equipped. The Summerwinds property is amazing, pools were great, beach access is so convenient. 5 star rating for sure! Can't wait until next time!

Had a great stay. Location cant be beat. We were a little disappointed that the condo is a little dated and could use an update. Has great swimming pools. Access to kinda semi private beach. The chairs and umbrellas are rental and not for guests. Pier and Windjammers next door and can be walked to. We went out to eat but spent most of the trip around the condo complex. Wrist bands must be work on the pool area and to enter the beach. Will stay again

Very nice place

Very nice place for family Vacation or just a peaceful Vacation. Room was clean and service was great. Highly recommended for people that do not like adult beverages. The only downfall for me was you can't have a adult beverage within arms reach of the hot tub or swimming pool even if its has a lid that seals like a yeti or other sealable containers and for that reason alone i will not be going back sadly because it truly is a nice place, but thats a deal breaker for me. This pretty much ruined my stay. Gulf was rough and pool area was all we had for most of the stay.

Loved the location!

The area was great! Easy to find and get to. Loved that it was on the water, had a lifeguard and security. Loved the views. The condo we stayed in was dated but worked fine for our family. A suggestion would be to have coffee filters there so you can use the coffee pot. (we left ours for the next guests). Was very handy to have the washer/dryer. A suggestion we'd like to make is that it would be great to have an area on ground floor where guests could put leftover beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, sand toys when they leave for new guests to use since we could not take these back on the plane. Overall, we highly recommend this place and will be back again!

Great location

They always say location location, location. This location was perfect. Just a short walk to the beach, or just down to the pool. Either way was good. The ocean water was a beautiful 83° and the pool water was about 85°. We were also a short walk to a couple different restaurants and the boat launch. When you look at the pictures online of this unit, it does look a little outdated, and it is. Probably time for a remodel, but everything was clean and no smell of anything moldy. I would definitely have no problem staying here again. When we went to use the broom, we noticed that the broom handle is broken, we contacted the property manager, and they replaced a broom within hours, so that was nice that they were very attentive

Not again

The TV did not have local stations until we finally got them 3+ day into our stay. Verry disappointing. The ceiling in the condo needs painting, the walls have patch work that needs to be painted. The Main bath/shower the sheet rock paper is coming off the wall. For the amount of money that was paid I think the place was 2nd rate and nothing like I have ever stayed in in the area. We have been coming to the area for over 35 years and this was the worst we have stayed at.

This unit needs attention, it is old and outdated which is fine for me but there were obvious things that needed to be addressed. A hole in the door looks like someone punched it, several outlets in the kitchen that did not work, towel bar in bathroom falling off, no curtains or blinds over the living area windows/sliding door, the blinds in master were falling apart, the mirror in one bathroom has chipping around the edge, the dining chairs felt like we would fall through if we used them, most of the furniture was very worn out … the decor was very outdated which is fine it was pretty clean but definitely needs some repairs and attention I wouldn’t stay again, the price did not match the unit I say this as a frequent Navarre Beach visitor.

We had a great first impression of the condo. The view and easy beach access were definite highlights. Unfortunately, several maintenance issues took away from the experience. We reported the WiFi, warped master bedroom blinds, a cracked second bedroom door, a constantly running master toilet, and broken refrigerator door bins on the first day. The blinds weren’t repaired until day three, and the toilet wasn’t fixed until an hour before checkout. As the week went on, we found more problems, including heavily scratched T-fal skillets that were unusable, a broken toaster, and worn wicker dining chairs that sagged badly. None of these are major or expensive repairs, but together they suggest the condo needs a thorough walk-through and routine maintenance. Everyone we spoke with was friendly, but the repairs never seemed to be a priority. I was on my first real vacation in two years so the priority wasn’t spending time on the phone or email. For the price, we expected a much better-maintained property.
