Das Cooley Cottage ist sehr komfortabel eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet (einschließlich einer Gourmetküche) und wird von einem aktiven lokalen Eigentümer in hervorragendem Zustand gehalten. Es bietet eine ruhige und doch sehr günstige Lage. Es ist nur ein kurzer Spaziergang zu einem Strandzugang mit einem Rettungsschwimmerstand. Praktisch kein Verkehr in dieser Sackgasse, aber mitten im Herzen der Nags Head-Aktivitäten, sei es Schwimmen am Strand oder Sound, Shopping oder eine Vielzahl von Outdoor-Aktivitäten für Familien. Außerdem ist es tierfreundlich! Schnappen Sie sich diese Boogie-Boards und machen Sie einen kurzen Spaziergang zum Strand, an dem Ihre Familie und Ihr Hündchen den Atlantik von seiner besten Seite genießen können.

Perfect

We were incredibly impressed with this property. It was very very clean and was just beautiful with up to date furnishings, kitchen, and bathrooms. There was a lot of useable outdoor spaces that were equally as nice. So comfortable! The walk to the beach access was short and there were plenty of great shops, restaurants, gas stations, and grocery stores very close by. We will definitely stay here again!

“Our” OBX beach house

We have been coming to CCC for over 20 years - love the house updates thru the years and the convenient location to many of our favorite places in OBX. This is the only place we have stayed and already looking forward to our next trip!

Short but sweet vacation

Clean and cozy cottage is in a quiet cul-de-sac. This place had everything we needed for a low-key vacation. Grocery store, and kids' activities were all close by. The beach was about a 3-4 block walk which could be tricky if you have a lot of gear, but there was a nice big parking lot we would drive to every morning. There is also a lifeguard station with clean bathrooms next to the parking lot, so you didn't have to run back to the house. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

Comfy and very-well located

Was very good. Plenty is space, particularly liked having an outdoors sitting area under the deck. A few extra basics to help with the on arrival would have been helpful, dish soap and a few coffee filters. In other places I have stayed charcoal for the BBQ is usually provided. We had a wonderful week and would definitely want to stay again!

Really enjoyed our stay!!

My wife and daughter had a great week and really enjoyed the staying here. The property was nicely furnished with a welcoming and relaxing feel. The property manager was very thoughtful and responsive. We highly recommend this vacation home and will remember it for future visits to the area.

Love this cottage!

We always love our stay at CCC. So close to the beach, walking distance to Dowdy Park, Tortugas Lie, and Morning View, and on a quiet cul-de-sac... you can't ask for a better location. Amenities are great with two full bathrooms and an outdoor shower, plus a great kitchen if you decide to cook in. And we will return later in the year with our pup!

Great Location

We love staying at CCC! Some highlights? The size of the cottage is perfect for a family, the kitchen is updated and well appointed, the beds are very comfortable, and the outdoor shower is great! Best of all is the location… walking distance to the beach, Dowdy Park, and Tortugas Lie. We will stay here again and again!

Wonderful stay at CCC

The home is very tastefully and lovingly decorated. Many of the pieces of artwork were created by the grandchildren of the owners. You can tell the this is truly a family vacation home and that they take pride in the cottage. The kitchen is well equipped and the family room/ kitchen are very comfortable. Easy walk to the beach. Located near lots of restaurants and shopping. We hope to return.

Location, location, location!

CCC was in the perfect spot! Easy walk to the beach. Yummy ice cream and açaí bowls right around the corner!! Easy walk to Food Lion. Our family had a great time. The cottage is beautiful and impeccably clean! Checking in and out was easy and communication with Blair was quick. Looking at 2024 dates for a potential return!!

Wonderful stay at the CCC!

We thought this was just the perfect cottage for our young family’s beach vacation! The location was perfect for getting to the beach with two kids and a wagon, playing on the playground at Dowdy park, close to so many restaurants and Harris Teeter, quick drive to manteo and duck. The house itself was lovely with ample space for a family for four and dog. Kitchen was well stocked. Laundry on site was amazinggg with little kids. And the outdoor shower was a great option for keeping the inside sand level controlled. Plenty of space to spread out beach stuff under the deck to dry. We met Ms. Cooley one day when we were outside and our four year old considers her a “new friend”! We definitely plan on visiting again.

Fabulous Cottage

What a wonderful stay we had at CCC. The cottage is in a lovely quiet cul de sac and a short walk to the public beach access. It was our first time bringing our pups to the beach and I am so glad to have found a pet friendly rental. Beach tip: we packed our car full of our beach gear and cooler and parked in the public beach parking in the morning. I walked the dog back to cottage after parking the car. The walk to the beach is an easy 5 minutes but it was so nice to have a car to drive back to the cottage after a full day at the beach and not have to tote a wagon or carry our stuff in the heat. The cottage was clean and beautifully decorated. The best part? The large outdoor shower! Communication was fluid and the owners were very responsive to questions. Be sure to eat and drink at Tortugas and Mama Kwans, 2 long lasting staples in Nags Head.

Quintessential Beach

When you think of Nags Head, cedar shingled cottages, relaxing rockers and of course Nags Head Hammocks, and the lull of the birds and evening breezes all come to mind. This place offers all of that along with a relaxing space to rest while you unwind on vacation. In the heart of town, everything is within walking distance to entertain your family, but tucked into a cul de sac where you can retire to an evening of warmth and friendship. Highly recommend!

Great home in a great location

We had a wonderful time. The house has everything you'd need and is on a quiet cul de sac. The owners are thoughtful and surprised us with ice cream sandwiches from a local ice cream shop. Dog friendly and clean. Bring your own towels and bedding. We hope to come back!

Dirtiest vacation place that I've ever seen

We found 8 cockroaches, 1 tick, and I got back home with a lot of skin bumps all over my body from bug bites (probably living in the bed). We sent the owner pictures of the roaches we found and she offered to spray the house as well as an insignificant refund. She also charged a pet fee after seeing our dog with us (no pet fee was mentioned during the booking process). The place had a stench smell of old and dirt. I was suspicious of someone entering the premises while we were at the beach and setup a "trap" to confirm it; the least I can say is that someone tried to open the door. I never felt so uncomfortable at a vacation place before. Never coming back to this one and never ever recommending it to anyone.
