It was quaint enough for a night. Not the view in the ad. Front door did not stay locked. It was very good but not excellent.

We had a wonderful stay! Everything was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The kitchen accommodations were great, the room was comfortable, and the bed was very nice—just a little softer than my personal preference, but that’s simply a matter of taste. The host provided a welcoming and comfortable space, and overall we were very pleased with our stay. If I had to suggest one small improvement, it would be to provide a few additional towels for guests. Other than that, everything was absolutely great. We truly appreciated the accommodations and would definitely recommend this rental to others. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

As described, this property is in an older building but the ceilings are high, and the place is pleasant for two people. It's very clean. Communication about check-in and how to get into the building was excellent! We were only there one night so my comment about cost was just that the fees don't get spread over more days, but that's on me! We did not use the kitchen other than the coffee maker! There are some really good Asian restaurants nearby! We had a great meal at Immm.

Nice apartment. Building less than a block from red line. It was clean. With all the possible charges for small mistakes I was worried I would inadvertently screw something up. Hope I didn’t.

Great little place

Loved the location and atmosphere of this place. Cute one bedroom with all the necessary amenities. Just know that there is not a door to the bedroom - hard for an early riser and a late sleeper!

Perfect spot for a Chicago getaway

We had a great stay at this property! The space was clean, comfortable, and the location was perfect for the things we wanted to do. You're a quick walk to the red line train, which we utilized several times for exploring the city. Wrigley Field is also walkable if you are up for it! It's a great way to check out the surrounding neighborhoods. Highly recommend having breakfast at least once at Golden House Restaurant & Pancake House - we went twice because of it's convenience and quality. Will definitely be returning!

Very small

We were unable to relax in the apartment. It felt like a Dorm room. There is no parking for the stay so we had to park in the road and pay. The best part about the building was roof top. This was a learning lesson, i will be much more informed on my next VRBO stay.

The communication was absolutely fabulous-the host gave us tremendous insights for parking, restaurants and more. Check in was a breeze thanks to the clear, concise directions including pictures. The apartment is on the smaller size-quaint and cozy, but it was perfect size for my husband, myself and our dog. We used the apartment as a “home base” while we were visiting our son and daughter in law, there are convenient bus and train options as well as on street paid parking and several lots nearby, as well as a plethora of restaurants and bars, so it made it easy with the dog to bring her with us, or, exercise her and have her nap in her kennel in between stops. The Montrose dog beach is .7 of a mile away -an easy walk and is awesome-they have doggie baths right there so no sand coming back to the apartment!! The building itself was very quiet, the people we met were kind and courteous and they have a terrific enclosed doggie area right in the back yard! We will stay here again.

The floors were dirty. Dog hair and q-tips on the floor. All the furniture is uncomfortable. It was ok but the kitchen needs cooking sheets and knives. The reason I chose this location was for the ability to cook in stay and it was difficult. Location is uptown. It’s nice and quiet. No parking or expensive parking near buy. Argon ballroom is caddy corner tho. And there’s a washer in unit. Has potential for longer stay but may not be economical.
