These four words describe what a culinary vacation is all about. We are constantly laughing together and having fun. Our Hands On COOKING CLASSES will take a couple of hours and the eating might take just as long.

famous for keeping culinary traditions alive and in a corner of San Juan Island you will find the best example of all that is great about Italian food at Garrison Bay Estates.

Our cooking classes will take place in our beautiful country kitchen, using my grandmother’s recipes. All true ITALIAN HOME COOKING. Of course, everything is done by hand, from scratch, in the old fashioned way Italians have been doing for centuries.

You will be involved 100%. Be ready to put that apron on and sink your hands in dough as we explore the art of Italian Cooking.

Arriving at this waterfront 3 bedroom, 2bath home, you will be greeted with a complimentary WELCOME BASKET. Your Basket will include a bottle of wine (in which to dip your assortment of Italian Biscotti) gourmet coffee, tea, olive oil & vinegar and non-alcoholic Sparkling Apple Cider .

You will enjoy the bright open

interior with contemporary furnishings in each room. Take advantage of striking bay views from large over-sized windows.

A luxury sized master bedroom offers a King bed and private deck to enjoy your morning coffee and freshly made biscotti or muffins. Every detail is exceptional with plush spa towels and high thread count cotton sheets.

Master bath has twin sinks, full walk in shower and soaking tub. The second bedroom with queen feather bed has a delightful garden view and the third bedroom has two double beds, feather beds, extra pillows and garden view.

A twin size roll-away bed is available as well as Baby gear, crib and booster seat at no extra charge.

Kitchen is more than fully equipped and includes Waffle Maker, Panini Grill, French Coffee Press, Bigoletti Espresso Maker.

All the 'must have' items including wine glasses and blender. Even cook books.

Large great room with 60" Satellite TV & CD/DVD player, has french doors to expansive deck. Large lawn area for play. Toy chest for children. Games, cards and more. Washer & Dryer available.

From the beach you can see British Camp National Park with its great hiking trails . It is only 5 minutes away.!

Near by is San Juan Golf and Country club for golf and tennis plus clubhouse dining.

Bring your own bike or rent from the bike shop downtown. Launch your kayak in your front yard into Garrison Bay. No kayak - no problem, Crystal Seas Kayaking offers tours and rentals. Bird watchers and naturalist will enjoy viewing the bays abundant wildlife from canoe, kayak or beach. Soak in sun all day while you enjoy the panoramic views and BBQ in your own park like yard steps from the bay.

The expansive lawn rolls to waters edge and is perfect for family games of volleyball, badminton, croquet and Bocce. Equipment provided.
