Absolutely loved the quaint environment. I feel rested and relaxed after the stay. We were in town for a hockey tournament and it felt so amazing to come back to a place that feels like home.

Very relaxing stay

The Eleanor was very clean, relaxing and had everything we needed. We enjoyed our stay and the grounds had kayaks for us to get out on the lake. We definitely recommend staying here.

The Eleanor is a a pretty, cozy, well-appointed dwelling with a shabby-chic cottage ambience. We stayed one night, after attending a wedding at the Shed, but would have been happy to stay for a long weekend, to explore the countryside around Amery. Winter or summer, this is the perfect place for a family retreat!

This cozy cabin was perfect for our short stay. Thoughtfully stocked with all essentials. Hosts were excellent—very responsive to our questions and requests. Will return!

Clean, comfortable space. Beautiful view of the river. Great location. We hiked 4 different state parks and went to the Mall of America during this trip, but also has plenty of down time in the cabin. Everything as described. Good communication.

Adorable Little 2 Bedroom Cabin

The cabin is so cute and tastefully decorated and furnished. The kitchen is well supplied/stocked with utensils and items to purchase for food. Even a couple of extra items for free. Host was extremely helpful and accommodating. I would definitely stay there again and will recommend to others!

The bed linens had a musty smell and the cabin walls are thin. The person next to us came back at 1:30 am and made a lot of noise for over an hour afterward. It was wasn’t a very pleasant experience.

We are extremely disappointed you didn’t enjoy your stay. Our linens are washed after every use and these are only two year old units so linens should never smell musty. Very sorry about your neighbor coming in late making noise. We do have sound proofing in between the units but it can’t keep all of the noise out unfortunately. This is not a typical experience for our guests and I’m sorry you experienced it. We did let Christopher check in early for free and he had issues getting in with our automated system not working on our end. I spoke with him on the phone and he was a lovely person. I wish we could have made a better experience for him.

Lovely Cabin

We were looking for a quiet place to spend Christmas and this was just the place. It was clean, well stocked, and in a lovely location. The hosts were excellent in communicating in a timely manner. We had an unfortunate situation arise with the people who were staying in the other unit. We contacted the host and she immediately took care of the situation. Thanks for a lovely stay!

She has thought of a million little things when equipping this VRBO. Very clean, cute, adorable, peaceful neighborhood. Absolutely could not hear the neighbors in the other unit. It’s like a duplex.

Brittany - the cabin property was very well appointed. We barely appreciated it cuz the day had been so busy before finally coming back to the cabin to sleep. If I have a complaint, it is NO COFFEE. The array of coffee makers was nice - standard drip model, espresso machine and French press, but no coffee available. As a Scandinavian, I really was disappointed.

Hi Bethany, We are so sorry you didn’t have coffee. We usually keep three different kinds in each unit. I apologize but will be totally honest that we are confused because there is still coffee in there that we purchased and we didn’t add anymore since your stay. Regardless, coffee is something we always provide and we apologize that you didn’t get that. We really wish you would have said something as we have a ton of extra in the laundry room as it is well stocked with extras. It’s unfortunate when we can’t make a wrong a right with a simple fix. We are thankful that you enjoyed the other aspects of the cabin and your stay here in Amery.

Luxury Outdoor getaway

The cabin we stayed in Was absolutely beautiful and Eloquently put together in every warm, comfortable little detail! There was coffee and tea provided along with cereal And oatmeal, There was every cooking utensil And appliance that you may possibly need along with washer and dryer. Also, my personal favorite was the amazing handmade soaps and organic shampoo, conditioner, and lotions! The bedding was Top notch and the bathroom shower was stunning! For a cabin, I would have to say this was the best cabin I have ever stayed in! My husband and kids had a marvelous time fishing, and I had a marvelous time resting in the comfy bed with a comfy down comforter! 🙌😉
