Fall brings some of the year’s highest tides to St. Augustine, and when combined with the bad weather we had, they can cause temporary street flooding in low-lying areas of the historic district. These conditions are outside anyone’s control and usually clear within a few hours as the tide recedes. The home and its parking space remain accessible during king tides, but we understand how a few flooded streets disrupted your plans. The home sits in the heart of the historic district, close to the city’s sights, shops, and restaurants, and is a great place to be for Nights of Lights. Thank you again for choosing us, and we hope to welcome you back.

Charming Cottage-Wonderful Location

The cottage was beautifully furnished and very comfortable, in a quiet neighborhood. The location was so convenient - less than a mile from everything we wanted to see and do. We will definitely try to stay there the next time!

Fan in bedroom was very helpful!Cons*Parking was super awkward and annoying having to carry our weeks worth of luggage and home goods down a neighbor’s driveway and around the corner to the house, multiple times*Not enough bathroom counter space.*could use a small area rug/floor mat at the bedside to wipe feet before getting into bed.*No space to hang long pants or dresses. *Felt very exposed in the bedroom with the minimal blinds covering the French doors to the patio facing the street. *ice maker does not work.*patio was not usable due to disgusting/algae stained table and chairs that have not been cleaned off in a long time. Patio itself could be cleaned up as well. *odd smell in the fridge*not cool enough at the 74 that we are allowed. Humid feeling in the house, especially after walking back from Old City in the heat. Major Gaps around entire front door so cool air is escaping. *both trash and recycling cans were covered in moss and debris and very dirty to touch. (The inside was however, clean and not smelling bad)*no shower handles.*no hooks for wash cloths or towels to hang dry. Only one towel bar over the toilet, which is awkward compared to where the shower is and a bit gross to hang a towel at the toilet.

For parking, street parking is usually available for unloading, which can save a trip with luggage, and we provide a dedicated spot so you always have somewhere to park, even when the streets get busy during Nights of Lights. What a cute home!

The property was clean and very well maintained with as many of the original features as possible (I believe it was built in the late 1920’s). It was very well appointed with everything we needed.The location was perfect, with a lake in front that provided a perfect walk for our dog. Easy access to shopping, restaurants and beaches made it very easy to do everything we wanted to do. 10/10 would stay here again.

Stayed here on a quick 3 day visit and if we come back to St. A again, this is where I would stay every time.The place is perfect for 2, and so charming. Great bed, fabulous kitchen, which we didn't use, and walkable to everything. Very quiet neighborhood. Highly recommend!

Old time charm

Property was amazing. Very well renovated. Close to town but not too close. My only suggestion was that you could put an overhead fan in the master bedroom to help with air flow.
