Delightful luxury 1-bedroom tipi farm stay in WNC

Opens early summer. Tipi sleeps 6 guests with a queen bed & 2 full beds. It is 100 yards from the Toe River in Bakersville, NC. Enjoy listening to Whitson Branch as it trickles by the front porch grilling and firepit area. The tipi has wifi, kitchenette, parking in front, bathroom and the shower house. Comes with 2, 2 -person tent sites. So, for guests who do not mind tent camping this space could accommodate groups of 10. Glampground has additional farm stay tiny house onsite too.
The space
Looking for a rural mountain escape? Look no further! This farm stay comes with free river tubing, chickens for entertainment and Farm fresh eggs, seasonal veggies and herbs. An outdoor adventure guide service is onsite and can plan all your recreation needs.

We are located 50 minutes from Asheville, 45 minutes from Johnson City and about about 2.5 hours outside Charlotte. Close by offerings include two unique mountain towns with shops, breweries, great food, and tons of local art. Take your pic of hiking and waterfalls. We are surrounded by Pisgah National Forest, Cherokee National Forests and a few miles from several access points along the Appalachian Trail.
Guest access
Guests tipi, bathroom and parking are private spaces. The only shared space is the shower house located at the river outpost and store a short walk from your front door.
Other things to note
Sorry no pets. We have free range chickens, 2 dogs and a cat who like to visit guests.
