Loft style apartment is upstair in the former Odd Fellows formal meeting room. Built in 1900, this historical building is the tallest in the downtown with a view of the business district and the Milan 1954 Hoosier basketball museum. Though the town is very small, it has historical significance. The Milan Indians (one of the smallest schools in the state) won the 1954 State Championship, beating Muncie Central (one of the largest schools in the state), when Indiana had only ONE state game. The David and Goliath story had such an impact on basketball fans everywhere around the world, that it inspired the movie Hoosiers, starring Gene Hackman.
The loft is luxurious, spacious, and a mix of old and new. It has executive style and romantic features, that will wow the most appreciative clients. A wide staircase elevates one to the loft where they will move throughout with ease and privacy. A king sized bed hides behind a bookcase wall. The 15' ceilings leaves one feeling like they are in a castle. Make no mistake, one will not be disappointed.
