Newly remodeled unit in historic and beautiful San Marco. Nestled on quiet street yet minutes from the Square and river -- and from restaurants, coffee shops, arts, events. One of two units in a private house with patio, backyard and new driveway.

You’ll appreciate the quality of furnishings in this 1000 sq foot house 2 bedroom house. Bedrooms are upstairs while living area & kitchen downstairs. Two FULL bathrooms up and down stairs -- rare for a unit of this size in the San Marco area. Place has most everything you need -- a true home away from home -- yet in an uncluttered format.

Equipped with all new kitchen and laundry appliances, with tile and refinished wood floors throughout the home. 3 TVs, cable, streaming services, hi-speed internet. Kitchen has coffee maker, electric grill, toaster, blender and the like as well as offering a complete set of spices sweeteners and oils. Large set of pot & pans, glasses and dishware.

This rental is run by a PRIVATE OWNER not a property management or corporate firm. I have successfully run short term (and long term) rentals in the beach areas and throughout Jacksonville but venturing now into San Marco. If you have questions/ issues about the house or area, I am very responsive.

To other guests --the unit has now been operating for years and pet hair has not been noted as an issue. While we are accommodating to guests with pets, we make strenuous efforts to keep the unit clean of all residual pet hair and given our overall and cleanliness rating, have been successful at that Trains. Yes, there are trains in San Marco, nothing being hidden regarding this. it's considered part of its charm, and there's nothing unusual about my property. Frankly, if the toot of a train bothers you, don't come to San Marco.

We had a great stay. The place was clean and had all the amenities you need. The location was great. The neighborhood was quiet. It was within walking distance to restaurants and shops. I would definitely stay again.

Great house in a fun location!

Great house perfect for two couples in a fun part of Jacksonville. Met friends here and went to the Jacksonville game and had a blast. Easy walking distance to restaurants, breweries, and shops. Would definitely stay here again. Host is very responsive and has a well maintained property. Thanks for the great weekend!!

Great spot, convenient to sports/arts area

We stayed at this property while attending a concert in Jacksonville, and it was perfect for our needs. We used Lyft to get to and from the house, and it was a quick trip to get to VyStar Arena. There is a Panera bread close by, which was great for breakfast the next morning. The house was clean and well appointed, and we really enjoyed staying there. We would definitely stay here again!

Surprised!

Place was good location to San Marco shopping and food. Beds clean and comfortable. Unit was not very clean. Dirty area rug, smell of smoke, dirty sponge left behind, no DW pods, sofa lots of stains. We had to vacuum chair in living due to window left partially opened. Refrig full of crumbs. Place was cheap…should have been my first sign. I am happy it was only 2 nights.

Michelle, i am sorry my normally 5 * location did not meet your expectations. I am a Premier host on VRBO and Superhost on the other site and pride myself on the quality and cleanliness of my properties, demonstrated by almost uniform 5* reviews across this and my other locations. Nonetheless we always strive to do better. Sofas have been destained. The rug was not stained -- actually that is design of the rug -- but we have replaced it with a brand new area rug. The smoke and other dirt in the unit was due to a one time odd event where the a/c condensor caught on fire and was damaged. It blew extra dirt and smoke thru the unit ... we cleaned it but realized later it needed a day or two to air out... and we gave the property a full deep cleaning. Everything back to normal right after that. I am sorry you caught things at that very odd moment for the unit. If you had noted any issues during your visit we would have promptly addressed them -- i am a very responsive host. Finally the unit is in no way "cheap" -- that's an unfair comment. The unit is still new, with quality furniture, thoughtful design, and nice decor touches. It provides also a small patio, maintained yard and new driveway. All offered at a reasonable price to guests. Dan
