Welcome to Waterside Retreat on Hood Canal, a luxurious waterfront getaway newly renovated in January 2025. With sweeping views of the Hood Canal, this home combines modern comfort, family-friendly fun, and a serene natural setting.
Designed for both adventure and relaxation, the home features two king bedrooms, a convertible twin/king room, and two sleeper sofas, comfortably accommodating up to 10 guests. For the best experience, we recommend 7 adults. Expansive windows throughout bring in natural light and allow you to enjoy the canal views from nearly every room.

Whether you are cooking in the fully equipped kitchen with stylish green cabinetry, dining indoors or on one of two decks, or relaxing by the fireplace, every moment is enhanced by the peaceful water views.

Waterside Retreat on Hood Canal is a sun-filled, midcentury modern home where comfort meets excitement. The ground-level arcade and media lounge provide endless entertainment for families and friends. Play Pac-Man, foosball, retro consoles, or sing karaoke under the disco ball. The upstairs projector allows movie nights or streaming games on a large screen for everyone to enjoy.

Upstairs, the living and dining areas are designed for gathering and relaxation while taking in the breathtaking canal views. Two king bedrooms feature premium hotel-quality linens and cozy touches. The third bedroom has twin beds that convert to a king, and pull-out sofas in the living areas provide additional sleeping space. Two bathrooms, including a spa-style rainfall shower and a tub/shower combo, ensure everyone can refresh comfortably.

Outdoors, the home offers two decks, a year-round hot tub with canal views, and a firepit on the beach. Guests can enjoy seasonal water toys including a kayak, paddleboard, canoe, and floaties. The eco-friendly, pesticide-free landscaping attracts local wildlife and enhances the natural setting. Lawn games, picnics, or casual lounging on the decks and lawn create endless outdoor enjoyment.
An adjacent cabin is nearby, and while the property is close to neighbors, landscaping and hedges provide privacy without isolation.

Spend your days paddling on the Hood Canal, exploring local trails, or simply relaxing on the decks while watching the water. Evenings can be spent soaking in the hot tub, roasting marshmallows at the firepit, or enjoying hours of entertainment in the arcade and media lounge.


Guest Access
Guests have full access to the house, decks, yard, hot tub, firepit, and seasonal water toys. Parking is included, and entry is via smart lock with a code provided before arrival. The outdoor spaces and firepit are available during allowed hours.

Guest Interaction
Self check-in is provided for convenience. While guests enjoy privacy, we are always available via message if questions arise or assistance is needed during the stay.

Things to Know
Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 8 AM; firepit not available after 11 PM.

The beach is rocky; water shoes are recommended. Children must be supervised.

Mason County may enforce seasonal burn bans; propane fires are allowed.

Occasional power outages may affect water and well systems; compensation is provided for daytime outages over 90 minutes.

This home is optimal for 7 adults but can sleep up to 10 guests.
