In 2012, my mother and I purchased this property after vacationing here year after year since the early 2000s. As locals who live and work nearby, this beach quickly became our sanctuary. Every summer, my daughter and I would move here for the season, happily commuting an extra 20 minutes each day in exchange for coming home to—and waking up to—the most peaceful and relaxing scenery.

Shortly after purchasing the condo, we completed a full renovation, thoughtfully redesigning every detail. Each piece of furniture and every work of art was personally selected with care and from the heart by my mother or myself, with the intention of creating a true second home—not just a rental.

We named it Elizabeth’s Hollywood Gem, after my beautiful daughter, who inspired us to purchase the property and who has cherished this special place since birth.

The moment you step outside, you’re immersed in the lively yet relaxed atmosphere of the Hollywood Beach Boardwalk. Palm trees sway in the ocean breeze, the sound of waves sets a calming rhythm, and the boardwalk comes alive with morning joggers, cyclists, families, and musicians throughout the day.

What we enjoy most is the perfect balance between energy and tranquility. You can start your morning with coffee while watching the sunrise over the ocean, spend the day steps from the beach, and end the evening people-watching from the courtyard or strolling the boardwalk as the sun sets. There are excellent restaurants, cafés, and ice-cream shops within walking distance, yet the area never feels overwhelming.

The neighborhood has a welcoming, community feel, with a mix of local residents, seasonal visitors, and families who return year after year. It’s walkable, safe, and full of charm—one of those rare places where you can truly unwind without ever needing to get in a car.

This stretch of Hollywood Beach has been special to our family for decades, and it’s a place we continue to enjoy and cherish every time we’re here.
