With its pleasant perch in a private, waterfront community, you'll have access to a swimming dock, firepit, picnic tables, a covered gazebo, and a kayak/canoe launch. There's also a boat dock where guests are welcome to moor their boats during their stay. When you aren't utilizing these stellar amenities and splashing in Deep Creek Lake, head back up to the lodge where you can fire up the gas grill and host a cookout for your favorite people.

While exploring Swanton and beyond, you'll appreciate the home's easy proximity to all western Maryland offers! Within eight miles, explore and play at Wisp Resort, Swallow Falls State Park, Oakland Golf Course, Herrington Manor State Park, and Savage River State Forest.

Back at your stay, get comfortable quickly amidst the home's rustic ambiance and modern amenities. The living room boasts a large smart TV and ample seating, perfect for movie viewing. Steps from here, the spacious dining area and kitchen make it easy to enjoy home-cooked meals with your loved ones. The dining tables even lend themselves to family board game nights.

With four bedrooms to sprawl out in, rest assured that there is more than enough space for everyone to get comfortable. The interior amenities extend to children's items like a Pack-N-Play, baby gates, and a high chair, as well as a private washer/dryer, smart TVs, and central air-conditioning.

The perfect ending to another day at the Brown Bear Lodge can be spent on the deck in the private hot tub, surrounded by unforgettable sunset and Milky Way views.

All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 6 vehicles.

Dock details: This home has a private dock that guests are welcome to moor their boats at during their stay.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.
