Classic Deep Creek Lake cabin with lakefront area directly across street, beautifully updated, in one of the best locations on the lake. Guests love being so close to WISP, grocery, retail and activities in the McHenry area. Private dock (in-season) and lakefront area faces west for great sunsets and extra sunshine hours. Deck on front of house provides spectacular views of the lake – with plenty of room for seating, outdoor dining, and of course the hot tub which shares the same great view.
Inside you have an open floor plan, with kitchen, dining room and living room. Dining room opens up to the front sliding glass door onto the deck. Luxury vinyl flooring throughout. Wood-burning stove provides a cozy ambience on those winter evenings. New whole house HVAC installed in 2022 provides central heat and AC. Escape the urban heat in the city and experience the low-humidity and gorgeous summers of Deep Creek Lake!
Master bedroom has queen bed and small half-bath ensuite, and the main bathroom is located centrally in the hallway. Second bedroom also has a queen bed. Third bedroom has twin bunk beds. Full size washer and dryer in separate laundry room – also includes a separate shower and laundry sink. Kitchen is well appointed with both standard drip coffee machine and Keurig and all the kitchen essentials for making meals. Full reverse-osmosis filtered water system. Gas grill on the deck – making it easy and fun to cook a meal while everyone enjoys the deck and hot tub.
You have access to the entire property - house, deck, front and back yard, parking area, and lakefront across the street. Property markers on the lakefront side mark where our property ends and neighbors begin.
For Summer 2024 (Jun 22 - Aug 17th, weeklong rentals are available, with a Saturday check-in.
DOCK - all docks have to be removed from the lake by December 1st, and cant be put in until April 1st. We typically will have our dock person take it out as close as we can around the 1st of November, and put it in as soon as he can after April 1st. Weather can affect this, as well as other jobs they have. Message us if you have any questions about docks being in around these times.
BOATS - Our dock is permitted for up to two powerboats to be docked at a time. Our private boat may be docked there during your stay - allowing you room for up to one boat to be docked on the other side of the large dock platform.

We are a family of five and love spending as much time outdoors as we can. We love all that Deep Creek Lake has to offer and enjoy sharing this place with other families.

We purchased this home in late 2019 after falling in love with the lakefront area, the trees, the property. We spent most of 2020 restoring the home and modernizing the interior. We did all the work ourselves and it was quite a transition! This is our sole vacation/rental property and we are vested in keeping it up and sharing with others.

Our street is particularly peaceful, quiet, and we have some fantastic neighbors on both sides - please be respectful. The huge trees on the property, the view of the lake, the wide lakefront across the street, the private dock, all of these things make the property special to us.
