Private Casita - Couples Getaway!

This new apartment just 5 minutes by car from downtown La Fortuna, excellent location to visit the main attractions 5 to 20 minutes by car from the property. A cozy and comfortable apartment especially for couples looking for privacy and relaxation for themselves and their pets. It is a gated property so very secure, private and we are proud to welcome LGBTQ+ community.

The property is gated and the apartment has a queen sized bed, private bathroom with hot water, walking closet Smart TV, A/C unit, kitchen area ready to be used and beatiful balcony.

In the property you will have access to our swimming pool area, green areas and gardens.

Our property welcomes your pets and also provide care & attention services while you visit all the area attractions for and extra cost.

We will be happy to provide great meals during your stay, once you book we will send you the menu and how to book this service.

We have 2 apartments on the property and the owners live on site too, each apartment is very private. In case you are looking another apartment we can offer the other one, both are exactly the same.

It is a gated property so very secure, private and we are proud to welcome LGBTQ+ community.

We offer FREE PLANNING SERVICE for your transportation and tours in La Fortuna/Arenal Volcano area, just let us know what you would like to do and we will help you to organize your vacations in our country with excellent rates and service. Once you book our property we will send you a detailed document with information about activities, transportation and more things about La Fortuna/Arenal Volcano area.

We have a small Tour Office named The House of Tours, which can organize any transportation from/to La Fortuna and any place in Costa Rica with bilingual drivers, comfortable units with A/C (Toyota Hi-Ace or Hyundai H1 2017/2018/2019 models) and excellent customer service. This was a last minute stay booked while in Costa Rica as we were headed back from Samara. Property is very nice. Bed is comfortable. Shower could be hotter. More towels should be furnished. The host should also have fresh cream at no cost for Visitors. Very relaxing

Lovely private getaway

Thank you so much to David for hosting us! The little private casita was adorable, with a sizable closet, bathroom, and kitchenette. And while it was cloudy during our stay, the property has a great view of Arenal volcano! David was very responsive, friendly, and helpful. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to La Fortuna!

Fantastic

From the moment we arrived we felt so welcomed. David was so kind and helpful. The property is so beautiful, manicured, & is truly a hidden gem. The view of the volcano is beautiful and we could not have felt more welcoming and comfortable. We loved our stay at this beautiful property and our cute little casita. Definitely would stay here again.

Amazing location, great host

I had a great time in La Fortuna staying at las casitas. First of all as a woman who was solo traveling this neighborhood felt very safe and secure compared to the bigger cities. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. In addition the property itself had a secure garage key and the individual houses have a touch keypad entry that automatically locked. The landscaping and view was absolutely gorgeous, the non cloudy days the sunset was 10/10. And if you wake up early enough you can see the cows graze in the neighbors yard. The pool was also 10/10, I swam each morning and night. The only critique would be the location in regards to ordering public transportation, certain apps would not be able to pick up on the location and I would have to walk down the road to meet them, but for the view and nature this was worth it for me. I would recommend a car if traveling with more than one person to offset this inconvenience and cost. The actual home was great with strong A/C, stocked fridge, beautiful tiles in the bathroom and endless lighting/outlets. I throughly enjoyed my stay in Las Casitas and would recommend time and time again

Our names are Eder Cruz & Allen Murillo, two good friends that have more than 15 years of experience working in tourism in La Fortuna, we grew up La Fortuna and decided to work together creating Home Vacations La Fortuna on May 2015, our main goal: Make things easier and simple for our guest.

In this property you will meet David & Maritza which are the owners and live on the property, on arrival day they will host you and show you the apartment.

On 2018 we create The House of Tours to provide our guests the best experiences during their stay in La Fortuna/Arenal Volcano area, we have the best tours and transportation services/rates in the area.

We manage/own about 40 properties in La Fortuna, we have a wide variety of options: private bedrooms, apartments, cabins, homes and villas up to 16 people some of them with private pool, hot tubs, nice opens areas, creeks nearby and more facilities. Over this years we have met lot of people which is one of the best things about working in tourism, every day we work very hard to make our guest happy so our business has been very successful thanks to the good reviews that we get from them.

Adding The House of Tours we hire Alonso Esquivel which is a expert tour guide and he works with us in the office so we can offer anything you need in La Fortuna, we have an office in downtown La Fortuna where we meet our guest so you don’t have to go around looking your property just get to our office and we will guide you to your place.
