Gut: Lage
We had a great stay and the location can’t be beat. We walked and biked everywhere, and even though the house is across 30A, the beach walk was easy with small kids. We loved being close to Seaside while still enjoying a quieter area.The house worked really well for our group, and this was our second time booking with this management company. They continue to be responsive and helpful, always quick to address any issues.A few things future guests may want to know. The washer and dryer weren’t in great shape when we arrived. The washer had a strong mildew smell, though maintenance came quickly and replaced a part which helped. The detergent and bleach bins still filled with water, and the dryer left a burn mark on one of our shirts, so I did feel like I needed to rewash clothes once we got home.The pool alarm on the downstairs living room door wasn’t working, so we kept those doors locked for safety. We also had to request temporary curtains for the downstairs bedrooms since there was no window coverage when we arrived. The small square windows above the bunk beds don’t have coverings, which does mean early wake ups.Some of the furniture is showing wear and had noticeable stains, and the feather filled living room furniture triggered my son’s allergies, so we covered it with sheets.On the positive side, the house was well stocked, had plenty of towels, a great balcony overlooking 30A, a large pool for the area and an outdoor shower. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
