Welcome to Water’s Edge, a custom home with private lake access, nestled in the low mountains of West Virginia. Wake up on the water, only 20 minutes from historic Harpers Ferry and the Charlestown casino, 10 minutes from Loudoun County’s wine country and breweries, or a short drive from multiple Civil War sites.

This 4-bedroom, 2.5-bath home has a private dock, outdoor fire pit, and open layout with plenty of space for families, gatherings and celebrations.

Refreshed and renovated this year, the design and style choices aim to make your stay a relaxing retreat from everyday life. Enjoy peaceful water views from every room in the house, or while away the afternoon in the expansive screened in porch. Or enjoy the house air hockey or foosball tables in the garage.

The first floor has a large living room with an open layout, spacious kitchen and capacious dining table perfect for family meals after a day out hiking, exploring or fishing on the private dock. Cathedral ceilings accentuates the open, airy layout that takes maximum advantage of the lakefront setting.

There are 4 bedrooms, including a large, ground floor master suite with a king bed and en suite bathroom. Downstairs are 3 additional bedrooms, one with a king bed, another with a queen bed, and the final bedroom has a bunk bed with a twin, double and trundle bed. There are also sleeping bags and an air mattress if the little ones prefer to “camp out.” Choose to sleep in using the dark-out curtains, or wake up early to views of the water from your bedroom.

There is a gas grill on the back deck if you’d prefer to cook out, and a large screened in porch perfect for crisp fall evenings or lazy summer ones. The house has central heat and air conditioning, fast WiFi, and a smart TV.

Perfect for couples, it is also outfitted for families and children. For our littlest guests, there is a complimentary pack & play, baby gate, booster chair, and children's dinnerware. Complimentary beach towels and folding chairs are there to use if you choose to go swimming, or buy a day pass to the beach at the Mountain Lake Club down the street, which has a private beach, restaurant and watercraft for rent. If you forget something, please help yourself to the complimentary toiletries.
