Just like the name implies, Forest Dream is the perfect place to come and pursue your forested dreams of adventure, hiking, climbing, relaxing and connecting with nature.  Tucked up on a forested hillside just minutes from the Slade Welcome Center and Mountain Parkway, Forest Dream strikes a great balance between seclusion and accessibility to all that both the Red River Gorge and Natural Bridge State Park have to offer.  Soak your worries away in the hot tub with a beautiful mountain view or cozy up inside near the gas fireplace, challenge family and friends to the numerous board games awaiting for you insdie, or stargaze after grilling up dinner.  Forest Dream is the cabin you’ve been searching for!

The road up to Forest Dream is paved, but steep.  While it is easier to access with a 4WD or AWD vehicle, 2WD vehicles can also drive to this cabin.

Staying in a Red River Gorgeous Cabin is truly a one-of-a-kind experience.  Because all of our hand-built cabins are unique, we wish to inform you of their individual features so you can come prepared to enjoy your stay to the fullest.

Kitchen:  Furnished with an electric stove with oven, double sink, full-sized fridge, microwave, dishwasher, toaster and drip coffee machine.  Cookware, dishware, dish soap and cleaning linens will be provided as well.

Living/Dining:  The main room has a sitting area, vaulted ceilings and a full-sized fold out couch.

Master Bedroom:  Has a queen bed and full-sized bathroom attached.  The washer and dryer combo are located in the closet of this bedroom.

Loft:  1 queen sized bed and great views out of the high windows of the main room in this open floor plan

Bathroom:  The second full bath bath is located just inside the front door and has a sink, toilet and shower.

Technology:  The living room has a 32" wall-mounted TV with Apple TV, and DVD/VCR player.  Our cabin is stocked with nostalgic VCR Cassettes--just for fun!  It's a blast from the past the rewind them!  :)

Additional Amenities:  Wifi, Propane grill on the back porch near the HOT TUB!, propane fireplace, and private fire pit.

We are happy to host pets at Forest Dream and ask for an additional $50 (plus tax) non-refundable pet cleaning fee for the first pet.  Any additional pets are $25 (plus tax).

Linens are always provided for this cabin.  We will provide pillows, blankets, bedsheets and bath towels.  We will also provide kitchen towels, toilet paper, hand and dish soap.

Firewood is also available upon request.  For $25 we will deliver firewood to your fire pit.  Please be sure to mark on your reservation if you would like firewood delivery.  Please be sure to put out all fires COMPLETELY when you are finished.
