Great weekend stay!

This is a great spot! Super convenient location and a short drive to wineries/downtown Clifton. The two parking spots were wonderful. I’d stay again if I’m ever in the area!

We had a great stay. Cyrus was quick to answer any questions. Check-in & check-out were very easy. The place was nice and bright and clean. Towels and some toiletries were provided. I was very happy there was a Keurig. Kcups were provided, as well. Would book this property again if we needed to stay in the area again.

The townhouse was as described . Definitely in need of things to make it homey. It is quite sterile. Kitchen needs alot of things. Pans, plates, wine glasses, cookie sheets, serving bowls.. needs extra blankets. End table lamps in bedroom. Decorations. But it does have three br, lr and kitchen, so it makes a good base being close to Clifton, 39 mins to DC . Not a great neighborhood.

Comfortable house and neighborhood

We had a great time staying at this house! It's in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood. The house itself is very spacious with many bedrooms/bathrooms that were clean. Definitely recommend!

We found this location because it provided the 4 berms needed for our family stay. It was in a nice little neighborhood that was quiet and peaceful. It was convenient for all of our needs. Grocery store is very close.

The broken window on the french door that the owner knew about and didn't tell us about is totally unacceptable. Plus guests took photos of dirt, dead bugs, loose hand rails, unplugged refrigerator, TV that didn't work and broken window blinds. The mattresses are so thin they didn’t get a good nights sleep. There weren't enough bathroom towels and no kitchen towels. Heat register caved in and the towel hook in one bathroom was off the wall.
Shattered French Door the owner knew about before the stay and didn't let us know. We thought someone had tried to break and enter.
Broken blinds in several rooms.
Twisted heat register that didn't fit closely to the floor.
The refrigerator was unplugged upon arrival. We didn't even know if it would work or not. Of course it couldn't be used for several hours - what to do with our food?

Thank you for your feedback. I want to clarify a few points for accuracy and for the benefit of future guests. The window you referenced was unfortunately damaged right before your arrival, and while I didn’t want to disturb your stay with contractor repairs, I had planned for replacement immediately after. Regarding cleanliness, our professional cleaning team has served us for years, and this is the first time such comments have been raised. Still, I take all feedback seriously and have asked them to be extra thorough moving forward. The beds are standard memory foam mattresses chosen for comfort, and past guests have found them suitable. We always stock towels and essentials, and additional items are available upon request. As for the blinds, fridge, and TV, these were in working order prior to your arrival, but I will ensure they are inspected again. I appreciate you sharing your concerns, though many of the issues described were not reported during the stay which limited my ability to address them promptly. And after the stay, I repeatedly asked for pictures for evidence and none received. Guest comfort is very important to me, and I continue to make improvements to the property for future stays.

Clifton Suite

All in all the stay was good. Would like to suggest an additional rail on the stairs to the upstairs bedrooms. Also additional lights preferably lamps in the living area and bedrooms. Also a dresser or chest when we unpack our suitcases. I do look forward to booking again soon. My brother’s burial in Arlington National Cemetery in November. Thank you again.

Overall experience

We arrive and the house was exactly what we saw on line. It was located in a nice neighborhood and very quiet. The only need we found was the kitchen was not heavily stocked. We cook when we travel and we could have used a few extra things in the kitchen, however we made due with what we had. Cyrus was great with communication ahead of time and accommodated our request for early check-in. Beds were all extremely hard/firm and very low to the floor. Felt like we were sleeping on a hard mattress laying directly on the floor. The main reason we booked was for the washer and dryer and the washer would only work on delicate cycle which took us several tries (and a couple of hours) to figure out. We contacted Cyrus about this and he said he was going to try to have someone come out and look at it, but we never heard anything further.Spiders and red ants were also an issue inside the house and the lawn was in need of mowing. Lastly, while out of the owner’s control, but perhaps speaking to the location, our first morning we woke up to the parking lot full of numerous police cars and had police in the parking lot most of the morning.

We chose them as part of the overall house setup to meet the needs of most of our guests, but I understand comfort can be a personal thing. Place was very clean and accommodated 7 of us with ease. Just a few things 1 beds were firm and comfortable but the pillows were horrendous. They were like sleeping on a rock pillow 2. Kitchen could use a few casserole pans as we had to go get pans for breakfast casserole. 2. Downstairs bathroom had no toilet paper. I understand if we were there a whole week we would have had to get more, but at least to start and if only a few night would have been nice. These are very small issues in the grand scheme of things, but if we have had those things it would have been purfect

Beds too low with uncomfortable matresses....6"only! Felt like sleeping on boards. No handail on steps to 3rd level. Needs blind replacements throughput as most had broken slats and kitchen patio doors broken and would not slide open. No instructions found for TV, none for adjusting ac. Uncomfortable living area with no end tables and just small coffee table. Dining area crowded. Kitchen not well stocked. Bedrooms had no chest of drawers and owners bedroom only had 2 small appx2x2 bedside stands...no place to put suitcases except on floor. Good location but no instructions on parking for the two assigned parking spaces....one of the spaces were not open as neighbor was parked in it. Deck off kitchen had no deck furniture at all! No coffee pot/grinder as stated in listing...no coffee carafe. Poor communication with host upon arrival as to ac. Clean and good location to our event.
