All I cared about was being on the beach in a comfortable house. This fit the bill perfectly. The entire family was thrilled. Literally you walk down the stairs and you're on the beach - it's not even one of those houses that's a bit back. Perfect.

I want to say first off the condo is immaculate, and the home owner takes great strides in making sure you’re comfortable with everything you can possibly think of. My issue is the communication with Carolina Shores Realty. We we’re under the impression that there would be beach access the entire week we were staying at the property. We checked the website for Dare County when we booked in April to make sure there was no project like beach nourishment going on during our stay. We got TWO days of what we paid for before construction crews shut the beach down in front of our property. Also, they work 24 hours so good luck sleeping. After the second day we had a construction dumpster and a load of pipeline stacked up in front of the place. When I called Carolina Shores Realty to ask if they knew construction would be happening, I was told they had no clue. Then I asked if a discount was possible, and I was told I’d just have to deal with it. So we packed up and left the next day. I feel scammed and deceived out of 8k for the week because there was notification, it got posted to Dare County website after the cancellation period apparently. If you rent be sure to quiz like crazy about the property. If VRBO would allow I’d attach pictures of our stay. From the sounds of it the entire month of July will have nourishment work going on with a pipeline in front of the property so BEWARE

The kitchen is fully equipped, so we can have all meals at home. The nearby seafood market and small grocery story means we don’t need to travel far for daily needs once stocked up for the week. Even the Catholic Church is nearby. The house is well maintained and welcoming for kids and pets.

Can't beat the decks and the view
