Beautiful secluded cabin with a great location

This cabin has a great location. We had a spectacular view of the mountains and felt like we were high above the tree tops. The location is perfect for visiting both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The log cabin was beautiful and clean. The accommodations were comfortable and perfect for our family of 5.

Overall, the house was clean and accuratlely advertised. The only exception, was the outdoor patio furniture area. The sofa cushions were dirty with oil like stains that were not inviting to sit on. It really took away from our family of four sitting outside and enjoying the balcony together as there were only two chairs outside to sit on. This really could have been avoided by cleaning the cushions and covering them when guests were not renting the home. Overall, house was beautiful. Be aware, we saw two sets of a family of four bears outside the cabin. We enjoyed this.

Our team takes cleanliness seriously, both inside and outside the home. We’ll make sure the patio furniture receives the attention it needs for future guests. We also encourage guests to reach out during their stay if something is not quite right as we’re always happy to help and address concerns whenever possible. Thank you again for choosing our cabin. We’re glad you enjoyed the home overall and hope your family left with some wonderful mountain memories!

The host was incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. They checked in on us throughout our stay and, when we realized the cabin didn’t have a stock pot large enough to cook for our group of six, they went out and bought one and had it at the cabin within an hour. This is, without a doubt, the CLEANEST accommodation I’ve ever stayed in. I’m pretty particular about where I book and usually avoid cheaper accommodations because cleanliness is so important to me, but this place completely exceeded my expectations. The cabin was beautiful, the host was amazing, and the location couldn’t have been better. It’s only about 10 minutes from downtown Pigeon Forge and 15 minutes from Gatlinburg, making it the perfect home base for exploring the area.If you’re hesitating about booking this cabin… stop thinking about it and BOOK IT. You won’t regret it!

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear the home was clean and that our team was helpful during your stay. We were honestly quite surprised by the rating, especially as your review mentioned that everything was in good order, and during your stay you shared that all was going well. We also want to note that we went out of our way to assist with the TV by installing an antenna so you could access local channels when streaming was not working. Our handyman came by to set this up and personally walked you through how everything works to make sure you were comfortable. Given that the TV issue was resolved and no other concerns were shared during your stay, we are not quite sure what led to the 2-star rating. Thanks again for choosing to stay with us. You are always welcome back to Sierra Vista!

The cabin was in a great spot. A little steep drive in and I would recommend being careful in a few spots. The road is only big enough for one vehicle on in a few areas(around a step up hill curve) so be very cautious as there are other cabins further down(light traffic). We did however have issues with the gaming system, we could never get it to cut on even with instructions(something that needs to be repaired I assume, was brought to the hosts attention). The biggest issue we had was the last night of the stay the roof began to leak in the master bedroom. Luckily our items were out of the way and we caught it early. Notified the host and they wanted to get someone out to look at it but it was already late and we had to check out in the am. Overall a nice cabin, had a few inconveniences . Host was responsive and accommodating.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re glad you enjoyed the cabin’s location and appreciated our team’s responsiveness during your stay. We appreciate you letting us know about the gaming system. After checkout, our team checked the arcade and confirmed it was working properly. We would have been happy to send someone over to assist with getting it started during your stay if we had known you were still having trouble with it. We always encourage guests to reach out so we can help resolve any concerns as quickly as possible. Regarding the roof leak on your final night, we appreciated you notifying us right away. Our team offered to have someone come out, but we completely understood that it was late and you were checking out the following morning. The issue was addressed after your departure, and we continue to take maintenance and the condition of our cabin seriously. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we’re glad that overall you found the cabin enjoyable and our team accommodating. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back!

Loved Our Stay

We stayed for a little over a week and could not have been happier with our stay. The views were incredible, the location was peaceful and quiet but still easy to get to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The cabin was clean and comfortable. Would stay here again if we come back. Loved the game tables, the kids and adults had a blast in the evenings playing all the games available.

We are a multi-generational family with 4 children, a grandfather, and our 3-year-old bernedoodle. We cherish the multigenerational family experience enjoyed by our children. We enjoy traveling as a family and have enjoyed staying in vacation homes during all our vacations. This inspired us to have our own vacation home. We worked hard to set up our vacation home with all amenities that we wanted as a family on our vacations with a very personal touch to the home. We want you to enjoy our home like yours when you are here with your family and friends. It is the whole experience of being at home away from home!
