It’s situated on a peaceful acre of land. Enjoy spending time doing nothing, listening to the birds, taking a walk, and work remotely and right after you can relax under a shade tree. There’s plenty of room for outdoor toys and year round activities. Perfect for couples and families, and friends seeking nature's embrace. It’s a 3 bedroom, 2 full baths, living room, dining area, kitchen, laundry room, front patio, back patio/balcony sits on 1 acre of land.

The house is on a quiet, private street and is a perfect location for activities at Wingate. The beds were comfortable and the property was spacious. We really enjoyed the variety of Keurig coffee pods that were there for us to use! Bernadette was great and kept in contact with us during our entire 3-night stay. We will definitely stay here again if our travels take us to Marshville, NC !! 5 Stars!

Relaxing and Peaceful

We had a wonderful stay! The host is so kind and helpful. The house was clean and well organized. There are nice restaurants not to far away and shopping just 20 minutes down the road. I am very satisfied and would definitely stay there again.

Was surprised when we arrived that the grass was so tall, didnt look real welcoming but they did mow the day after we arrived. Looked much better. Thot we had 2 queen beds but one was a full size. It was a quiet neighborhood and good location. Had an issue with a motion detector but it was resolved. It served our family well. It had a fully stocked kitchen.

Quaint Rural house

The property is located in a small town. It was the perfect location to stay for the party we were attending in Pageland SC, which is a smaller town than Marshville. Bernadette was very attentive and answered all questions and concerns. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent stay

We stayed here for a wedding nearby. The communication with Bernadette was excellent. We had everything we needed at the house and more. Food lion was a very short drive as well. House was very clean, AC going and set up upon arrival. Neighborhood was quaint and quiet. We would stay again if ever in the area.

THE BEST HOST EVER

I had the wrong door code. But I was able to reach Ms Bernadine whom was out of town at the time. She was able to let me and my family in from where she was. The house was just as described in a quiet neighborhood. This was my 2nd time there, and next time in the area.This will be our go to home away from home. Thanks again.

A Nice Place to Stay

I was visiting my daughter who is a Wingate student. We had our granddaughter with us. The house was perfect for us. We had room for everyone, and we were extremely comfortable in the house. The listing was accurate, except for a hairdryer. Bring your own.

My family and I booked this home at the last minute for a wedding we had other accommodations that fell through at the last minute and Bernadette was more than willing to accommodate us. The home is extremely clean and comfortable. My little one loved the lights! Bernadette over communicates which I loved! Shower ran hot and my little one slept like an 12 hour shift was worked lol we loved the no shoes in the house policy the carpet was beyond nice and soft! I didn’t get many pictures just the one showing but it’s all the same as described! If we are ever in NC again we will definitely be booking again! Thank you Bernadette! It shows that you care about what you are doing!

A graduation celebration!

It was perfectly situated for our son’s December graduation from Wingate University. Host was responsive to my questions and allowed for an earlier check-in. We hosted family who flew in from out of town for the weekend. Such a nice touch to be decorated for the holidays, complete outside lights. We had a small party of about 25 visit Friday evening. Plenty of parking as the lot next door is empty and for our use. The fire pit was a hit! The dry weather allowed the deck to be used. Inside had a great table for playing games. The kitchen is well stocked, beds are comfortable, good water, pressure, plenty of hot water, overall a very pleasant stay. Everything we needed! I’d highly recommend for a family stay, especially since it is only 6 minutes to Wingate! If you are uncomfortable with cameras inside and outside, you may want to consider that when booking. We saw one camera in the kitchen, one at the front door, and one on the back deck.

Nice have me but strong stale smoke odor

The house was nicely decorated and for the most part was as described. The location was great for our attending a wedding in remote area nearby. There was plenty of room for 4 adults. Kitchen had everything we needed. Rough start since arrived with cake needing to get back into a refridge and couldn’t get in, and lock batteries were dead. It took about 15 minutes for Bernadette to find someone to get us in. She was quick to respond to our call. Sometimes these things happen. Hard to predict. The guest bedroom has the queen bed and Master has full , not queen. That was a bit tough on my husband and I as we are use to a king at home. The grass being a bit long and bushes overgrown a bit did get us a bit wet getting to and from car. And there is no hairdryer. Our biggest issue was the strong cigarette smoke smell that did cause allergic sinus reactions for my family. Hopefully that can be mitigated soon as this is a nice place to stay in this area.

I enjoy offering my home as a vacation getaway and unfortunately with the best of my intentions I can’t please every guest. The keypad lock which is checked frequently has a malfunction however it was repaired quickly as the maintenance is my neighbor. My home doesn’t state there is a king, the grass grows fast due to the continuous rains we have experienced this month. The gardener can’t cut wet grass and not sure with the wide walkway to the car and driveway this is a problem. I was informed by my awesome cleaning company that upon arrival after this guest stay the home smelled like marijuanna which I immediately contacted the guests who became very defensive and denied anyone in there group smoked. However, this resulted in a negative review.
