I couldn’t have asked for a better stay! The property was super clean and in a super convenient location close to bus stops and multiple subway lines, the host was also spectacular, always open to answering any questions I had and going above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable and that I had everything I needed!

Good place, great location in Seoul. Pretty cramped for two guys

Host was very nice and offered us a free meal which was great ! check-in process was easy and it was great being at DDP station. From the pictures online the place looked slightly bigger, the rooftop terrace is quite big but the room is a little small and the bed was a bit small for two people. It was comfortable nonetheless.

It means a lot to us that you found the check-in process smooth and the rooftop terrace enjoyable. We’d love to address a couple of points you mentioned to help future guests better understand our space: While the rooftop may not be large, it's designed to be both cozy and fully equipped—perfect for small gatherings and a breath of fresh air right in the heart of the city. We're also in the process of updating our indoor furniture by replacing the current table with a more compact one to make the room feel even more spacious and comfortable. As for the bed, our room features a queen-sized sofa bed, which is generally comfortable for two women. However, we understand that for two men it might feel a bit snug. In such cases, we’re always happy to provide extra blankets and a mattress pad upon request to ensure a good night’s sleep. Thank you again for your stay and valuable feedback—it helps us grow and provide even better experiences for our guests. We hope to welcome you back soon to an even more comfortable space! We had a wonderful stay in this apartment! Everything was perfect and it had absolutely everything that we needed, and even more! Plus, it was very clean! We were very well greeted with local Korean food that was delicious. We had great communication with Kim, who was very reactive :) Thank you so much for this stay, it was absolutely perfect <3 I recommend this place; it's in a private space and very secure. We felt just like home. :)

I stayed for five wonderful weeks at the rooftop studio and absolutely loved it. The rooftop terrace was my favorite spot, spacious, breezy and perfect for relaxing or having a smoke while enjoying the fresh air and open view of the DDP skyline. It's such a peaceful space right in the middle of the city. The room itself was spotless and cozy. Though not huge, it was thoughtfully designed and kept very clean, making it super comfortable to stay long term. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the organic Supima cotton bedding made every night's sleep feel luxurious. I loved it. The host was super nice too! The location couldn't be more convenient: the Airport bus 6001 stops literally in front of the building, and the subway station is only a 2-minute walk away, making it easy to get anywhere in Seoul, whether it's Gangnam, Myeongdong, or Gangbuk. Overall, I had an amazing and peaceful stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, comfortably, and perfectly located stay in the heart of Seoul.

DDP Studio

This is a tiny studio with a pull out bed and outdoor space super close to the metro, bus stops, and the DDP. The location is great for shopping and getting around the city, but the view wasn't quite what we expected. The lower two floors can also be rented out, including the lowest floor which is an event space. We stayed three nights on the third (top) floor at this location and one of the nights one of the lower spaces was rented out and the renters sang karaoke until past 4 in the morning. The studio owner was gracious enough to give us our money back for that night, but we got no sleep and it was difficult to get much done the next day. While we appreciate the communication with the studio owner and understand it was not their duty to monitor the activities of the other renters, it still sucked to deal with. Besides that incident, it was a pretty good stay for the price and the owner was very pleasant and easy to deal with.

I’m very sorry again for the noise disturbance during one of your nights — it was an unusual and unfortunate situation caused by another guest using a different rental space in the building. As mentioned, I acted immediately and issued a full refund for that night, even though the issue was outside of my unit and control. I genuinely care about each guest’s comfort and peace of mind. To future guests: This rooftop studio is a compact yet thoughtfully designed space, ideal for travelers who want a clean, stylish, and central place to stay. It’s exactly as described in the listing — with full transparency about the size, layout, and rooftop access. The view from the rooftop is quite special, offering a rare angle of the Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) and surrounding cityscape, especially in the evening. The building includes other rental units, including a small event space, but I take noise concerns seriously and always try to manage guest expectations with care and quick communication. I'm glad Torren found the location convenient and appreciated my communication. I remain committed to improving every day and ensuring future guests enjoy a pleasant, memorable, and restful stay.
