Small cozy home tucked in a quiet cove on the South end of Toledo Bend lake on the Louisiana side. Enjoy the indoor fireplace or the outdoor fire pit in the winter time or a quick jump into the lake in the summertime. A covered boat dock and only a 5 minute drive by boat to get to the main lake.

The house had everything you could need. The attention and thought to detail was very nice and often missing when we’ve stayed at other places. We especially liked all of the dog friendly aspects. The lake was easily accessible to our kayaks. We enjoyed roasting marshmallows on the fire pit, kayaking on the lake, and playing games. Very nice getaway!!

Cabin was very clean and comfortable. Did our best fishing in the cove where the house was located. Very quiet area. It was an adult get away this time, but the cabin is well equipped for kids and dogs.

We had a great visit! The house is really cozy and welcoming. It is out of the way (which is exactly what we wanted). The property is right on the water, and we even caught a few fish. We would definitely recommend!

Great piece of property with lake access! The owner was fantastic with communicating in a fast manner! Be prepared with some bug spray but it’s the lake so that’s exactly what to expect! Had a blast and our trip was great!

This a a great property for fishing Toledo Bend. Check in was a breeze and we had all of the creature confits of home. Gully stocked kitchen with a full size fridge, stove, coffee pot, dishes and cookware. The boat slip was easy to use and had power available for charging the boat batteries each night. Access to the main lake and boat lanes was easy and quick as well. The host was super responsive, even after hours, beds were comfortable and everything was really clean. Definitely recommend this spot for a budget friendly fishing getaway.

The place is fantastic! Kitchen was well equipment with everything we needed. The area is very quiet and the back yard is awesome and shady. Pictures do this place no justice. It is very well maintained and very clean.Host is very responsive and polite. Will definitely stay here again.

Our stay was just *okay*

Nothing about this property real blew us away. I think your impression of it is clouded by it being located almost literally in a junk yard, and the outside of the property itself is not as tidy as the pictures lead you to think it is. There are piles of random junk outside and around the patio area. That being said, the inside is better. It's a homey feel, almost like you're at a relative's house. Everything we needed and more was provided. The home could use some cosmetic love, but was overall lovely. I would consider staying at this property again, but would pass it up easily for something more tidy.

House was great. It was clean and had everything we needed. Owner responded quickly to our question. House was in a great location in a quiet cove with a very nice covered boat dock and lift. I would highly recommend this property.

Weekend getaway

Awesome place and will definitely book again. Very pet friendly and hosts quickly responded to every message. This is what a lake house should be. One suggestion is, if it’s cold bring plenty of firewood. We brought a little but because it was in the 20’s we could have used more lol.

Family trip

Grandparents, adult kids, and 3 granddaughters with 2 dogs, we had the most relaxing time!! Everything we needed was onsite plus more- lots of games, fishing worms, firewood, fully stocked. We enjoyed the fire pit and a lot of time at the pier fishing- caught several. Plenty of room in the house, we had 7. My dogs loved the dog food/water area, toys, kennel, we didn’t even unpack everything we packed. Best time!!

Comfy and cozy

Looking for a quiet place to spend with family or friends, then this is the place to stay. Two full baths, two bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen open to living room and dining room. There is a Dollar General about 5 minutes away in case you forget something. There is a boat slip, but if you don’t have a boat, no worries just fish off the bank. The host is great and easy to reach if needed. Looking forward to our next trip!

Little Minnow Rocks!!

Very lovely home! My family and I enjoyed our stay here and will definitely consider returning again for another visit. I especially liked all the variety of games to keep the kids occupied, plenty of room for everyone to sleep and access to the dock for fishing.

Hi! Our names are Amanda and Brian. Brian has been coming to Toledo bend his whole life with his family during his childhood mostly for fishing. I started coming along with him the first summer we started dating. We have continued his family tradition of spending almost every weekend at the lake with our two boys (10 & 13). I prefer to use the lake for relaxing by swimming, lounging on the pontoon, tubing and kayaking. Brian's idea of a good time at the lake is fishing from sun up to sun down. Getting in his boat at 5am maybe returning for lunch then heading back out and not returning until sunset. I hope our home works great for those that either want to fish all day or for those who may want to have a place to relax with the whole family.

Because its not on the main lake you can swim and enjoy the dock without large waves or fast boats interfering. Its a nice quiet cove but still not a far ride to get to the main lake for those whose goal is to fish all over the Bend.
