Wintergreen Oasis - PRIVATE POOL & SAUNA

This Wintergreen Oasis is a private home nestled in the Stoney Creek area of Wintergreen Resort. This 1.3 acre property is an all in dream getaway boasting one of the very few PRIVATE POOLS in the Wintergreen area, private indoor SAUNA, newly installed private theater room, large playground, toys, books and games for kids and adults to enjoy, fully stocked kitchen with service for 12, 1 minute walk from Stoney Creek Golf and Tennis courts and 5 min drive to Lake Monocan beach and so much more!

We are always available for any questions but will not be located on the property.
*This home is in a residential neighborhood and is not meant for large parties. There is a strict no noise policy outside the home or on the premises after 9:00 p.m. - including weekends!
Any excess noise complaints we get from neighbors will incur a $250 additional fee per stay and a negative review on Airbnb.


*Our home is available for guests to bring their pets, however we need to be told in advance and there will be a $50 fee added per pet per stay.

*No slime allowed in the home during your stay.

Great property, especially because we had so many kids with us. Pool and play structure were perfect. The outdoor space is the star of the show. Everything else was accurate to the pictures. Bathrooms outdated but serviceable. There were no pictures of the bathrooms on the listing. Overall we had a great weekend away with the family. Thank you!

Beautiful home and property

We have stayed in several different homes over the past several years with family/friends for an annual gathering. This property is by far our favorite. It is beautiful and well taken care of. Sarah is easy to work with. I would highly recommend this property.

Perfect location

It was really nice, having the pool was a bonus for the little ones. Seeing a bear in the tree made everyone’s day. Took a while to find the secret room. 😂

75th Birthday Family Celebration

We had a great 5 night stay. Room arraignment and bedding worked out perfect for our group. The pool, yard and basketball hoop were all a hit and kept everyone entertained. Lot's of nice brewery's around drinks and food. Played some golf and did a waterfall hike up at Wintergreen. Walked around Charlottesville also. Their was a nice walk right in the neighborhood where some saw a black bear, deer and lot's of bunnies. We had a great time and would recommend this home. Property manager was very prompt with anything needed and the owner always got right back to us when we had any questions. Everyone was very nice.

Very Nice

Beautiful property set in nice golf course community. Hosts were gracious and responsive throughout the stay. Host even walked me step by step through how to turn on the pool lights at night. Only small issues were the grill was very dirty and we did not have top sheets included with our bedding. Otherwise a great place to stay.

Mountain Oasis was perfect for three generations of cousins. Plenty of space for our group and the children loved the pool. We had a wonderful time making memories.

We were looking to just relax and the guys do golf and hiking. And we did this.

The only problem we had was the back double doors didn't actually lock. During a storm they came open several times. This is a safety issue.

Family loved the house, pool and location to historical sitex

Overall impressive was terrific and that's why we rented it. Property needs some work but most problems were handled in a most timely manner.

Great family vacation

The property was lovely, and well cared for. We particularly enjoyed being outdoors, both at the pool and the large green space. The kids spent most of the day at the pool, and we all played baseball in the evening. We could walk to the the golf course and tennis courts, so there was plenty to do.

Great stay for UVA graduation

This property was perfect our crew of 3 families with graduating seniors from UVA. The yard was large and flat and we brought our corn hole boards. The weather allowed us to enjoy the pool and expansive deck too. The house had so much space and you never felt like you were on top of anyone. We had fun watching the crew of bats that hung under the eaves near the front door one night and a nest full of baby birds was above one of the lights on the deck. Some of us also enjoyed the adorable Saturday Farmers’ Market before heading to graduation festivities. Each shower had shampoo, conditioner and body wash available which was a nice touch and also plenty of towels. There were a few items that need some attention. The oven was not working due to parts that were on order. That was a bit inconvenient since we had planned to use it for several things and no one had let us know ahead of time. If you plan to use any stove top pans, you will need to bring some cooking spray as food sticks badly. The coffee maker was difficult to use - if you did not use a filter in the basket, the coffee came out watery and if you did use a filter, the coffee spewed out everywhere! No issues that were too serious but things that are good to know if you will be staying here.

Perfect place for our large family

The house is located in a beautifully maintained residential neighborhood with a golf course. We enjoyed walking and running on the many paths. Short drive to breweries and hiking. Loved the local coffee roaster down the street. House was very clean and we loved the pool. Nice big table to get the whole family around. Host was very quick to respond.

Wonderful house for family getaway

Great house for a any family.

Beautiful house in a quite cultisac with space for everyone about 10 cars. Long table for meals and wrap around deck with built in seating and a propane fire pit. Pool has a shallow and deep end. Our family walked the community and met neighbors. The one thing that wasnt clear on site was that the guest suite is above the garage, and that was the space designated for my infant and her grandmother. It's a narrow, high staircase which was cumbersome with our baby luggage. Recommend bringing extra trash bags because the garbage is dumped in a central location for the entire community. Had a schedule issue with trash because of the holiday weekend but called management and someone picked up on the first ring and we solved the issue.

Great week away

We had a lovely stay at Sarah's house. There was plenty of space for all of us and the location was really great. Very close to golf, good hiking wineries and breweries- there was something for everyone. Also the pool was such a good addition for a summer retreat. Overall an amazing vacation for us.

Peaceful oasis

This house, as part of the Wintergreen Resort, is a perfectly peaceful mountain oasis! Beautiful nature all around, tons of trails for hiking, and the natural playground a short drive away was a dream for my kids. The huge back deck with outdoor dining space, a fire pit, and access to the in ground pool, was our favorite spot in the house. The house was extremely clean and soacious, and communication with the owner was a breeze. She was so friendly and helpful, giving us tips for family activities in the area. I found the price to heat the pool to be slightly high, especially considering that the heater struggled to maintain the warmer temp, but overall we completely adored our stay here and cannot say enough good things about the property or the owner.
