Note: The basement is unfinished and unavailable to guests.

We love when guests celebrate life’s milestones here. However, fireworks, pyrotechnics, glitter, confetti, or fake rose petals outdoors are prohibited. Open flames are only permitted in the firepit. Failure to adhere will result in loss of deposit or additional cleaning fees.

Incredible and large lakefront home!

The location on Lake Wylie makes it easy to enjoy the quiet of this large and inviting property! Roomy and very well kept up and decorated/appointed! Easy to enjoy meals-in while watching the sunset from the deck or the hot tub! Spacious and comfy! The bedrooms were also very comfy and allowed for private space!

Living the Dream

We most enjoyed making smores down by the water’s edge with the Solo stove. There was plenty of seating for my family members who came to visit. The property was exceptionally clean. We used the hot tub, we sat on the deck, we stayed up and looked at the stars. We were living the dream!

Great getaway

This location is a short drive from south Charlotte and the perfect place to steal away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The lake view is calming. The home is spacious and very clean. I would highly recommend this location for large families or even just for 2.

A perfect weekend

I was looking for a good place for a birthday weekend away from home and stumbled onto this gem. The property is stunning and the views of the lake are amazing to wake up to. The host is extremely attentive. We had some complications with the grill and the host was able to instacart us another propane tank. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend.

Beautiful Lake Home!

My family and I stayed here for the Christmas Break as a way to reconnect and relax! This home is absolutely gorgeous! With all the modern designs and amenities it’s exactly what I wanted! The lake view outside was amazing also and the weather did not disappoint. The host Lee was awesome! Very responsive and friendly. This home is definitely worth staying at and is home away from home!

House for Vision Party

I went to a vision board event at this location and the entire premise is stunning! From spacious rooms inside, to an oasis outside with a gorgeous view, I never wanted to leave. It seems like the perfect retreat away from the city, but Charlotte is still so close in proximity. I felt like I was in the mountains in Asheville due to the quiet, privacy and landscape. I hope to go to this location again soon!

Water's Edge Did Not Disappoint

Me and a few of my girlfriends were looking for a close but near overnight getaway. Water's Edge was perfect! It has a luxury feel, was clean, the owner left us a personalized note, was accessible for questions, and the hot tub was amazing! The hot tub seemed new and very clean. There was plenty of room for all of us. While, we only stayed overnight, I would certainly recommend a longer stay in order to fully enjoy the grill, firepit, and lovely top floor deck!

This property is such a gem and we enjoyed every bit of it, from the scenery to the home itself. We had no issues and any questions we had Lee was on it and responded immediately. She made us feel welcomed and most importantly comfortable. It was relaxing, spacious and private. We plan on renting it out in the future. We could not have asked for a better Wedding Day experience at this beautiful lake house home! The Owner Lee pours her heart and soul into making sure every detail is accounted for. My wife and I jumped the broom last Friday 4.12.24 in front of a private group of family and friends and the memories we made here will last a lifetime! Perfect for a corporate retreat and training

We had the amazing opportunity to host our corporate training and tech day at this property for our Photo/Video experience company, Pose it up, CLT. The space felt like a retreat more than work to the team. We were able to collaborate and learn in this amazing spacing overlooking the lake. The space was super clean, airy and well furnished. We were all impressed with the design and aesthetics of the space as well. The owner was very accommodating and responsive to our questions. Overall it was an amazing experience, we will definitely be back to host our next event!

A Very Pleasant Experience

A huge thank you to the host for her gracious hospitality. Water’s Edge was extremely cozy and was the perfect layout for hosting my event. In addition, the view of the lake was very soothing and refreshing. I especially appreciated the property having all the necessary equipment in the kitchen that I needed , which made our event seamless and stress free. That alone took a lot of worry and anxiety off of me. I will definitely return to Water’s Edge for future stays. I highly recommend this property for other groups that want to experience a luxurious getaway.

Luxe stay for Daughter memorial

We used this amazing property to host a memorial event for my daughter’s passing as a private ceremony. First off Lee the property manager is AMAZING. She helped me sort through options and even gave me recommendations for vendors for the services. We were able to get early check in and late checkout so my out of town family could be accommodated at the home. She even personally came by with a card and candle to express her condolences. I was truly blown away by her professionalism and kindness towards us. NOW THE HOME: AMAZING!! beautifully designed with all the luxury you can handle with modern decor and amenities. I am particular with bathrooms and kitchens and all were 10 out of 10. Our family and friends all took the QR code to lookup the property and possibly book for themselves. I couldn’t have been happier choosing the Water’s Edge Luxe on the Lake.

Best Lake House Getaway EVER!!

We decided to look for the perfect spot for a guy’s retreat and a couple’s night with friends. We chose this location because of the number of bedrooms, firepit, big dining table, and hot tub - and we truly picked the PERFECT place!! The first night about 6 fellas linked up for cigars and a bourbon tasting and enjoyed the firepit throughout the evening after a catered dinner - it was an amazing spread and everyone loved the venue!! The 2nd night of our stay we invited several couples to come over to enjoy wine and dinner that we made at the house and it was a great vibe!! Everything we needed to host multiple people throughout the weekend was there and the owner even arranged a midday cleaning after the first night to ensure the place was tidy! One of the few places where the firepit is just right but also has an indoor fireplace that is warm and toasty! We will DEFINITELY stay again!!

This home is stunning! A definite must stay!

I had the pleasure of staying at Water’s Edge during a birthday celebration this year. The entire home is absolutely gorgeous and it is a stone’s throw from the heart of uptown Charlotte! This place is truly the best of both a luxury getaway and a time out on the town. From the expansive view of the lake to the designer interior decor, this was by far my most opulent stay this year. The home has plenty of space for very large families, which is exactly what my family needed, and the owner has clearly paid particular detail to each living space. Our children, who range in age from seven through fourteen, thoroughly enjoyed the large bunk bed room, which was equipped with a large television and four queen sized bunk beds, and each adult couple loved their individual private suites. The backyard, which backs up directly to the lake, includes a large patio, a hot tub, and an exceptionally large grill. There is plenty of room for outdoor activities for all ages, and you can literally fish from dusk til dawn. Take it from me, you do not want to miss out on booking Water’s Edge!
