Welcome to this fully equipped unit centrally located in Waukegan with a quick 5-15 min drive to Six Flags, The Naval Base, The beach, The theater, many restaurants, and shopping centers. Two private parking spaces in the back are available for your stay. Anything you want and need is within walking distance or a short 5-10 min drive. We look forward to hosting you.

•The entire upstairs unit is for your use. This unit includes three very spacious bedrooms, a bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen including cookware. You will also have two private parking spaces in the back. There are clean towels for each guest, toilet paper, hand soap, and liquid bath soap for your use. You will have access to a washer and dryer in the shared basement, and access to a shared backyard.

Fantastic place to stay!

We stayed here for our sons soccer tournament. The house was close to everything we needed, safe neighborhood with plenty of shopping and food near by. Hosts were very responsive and nice. House is well stocked with necessities. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend

Amazing host, very attentive to any issues. This place is in a very safe and quiet neighborhood with lots of restaurants and gas stations nearby. Host has lights down the driveway to the door, I really appreciated that since we had our grandmother with us. The apartment its self is very private and beautiful. Its wonderfully decorated and I really loved that they had board games and books for guests. The beds were really comfortable and the pillow were good quality.

First of all the place looked just like the pictures which we so appreciate! The property was very clean and had everything you would need! Genesee theatre get away!

We traveled from STL for a concert at the Genesee Theatre and stayed for the night. We had some beers at a local tavern, ubered easily to and from the theatre, and had an authentic Mexican breakfast down the street. We prepared a late night snack in the equipped kitchen, slept late in our comfy beds, and were cozy warm.

We came from Florida the day prior to my son’s graduation from boot camp. We were excited and exhausted from our trip. Karla was amazing the entire time we were there. We were able to check in early and the last day check out late so we could spend all the time we could with our Sailor! Very accommodating and helpful. The home was clean and just as we expected it to be. We had a great time and will definitely be back since my son will be attending A school here. Thank you Kayla for the accommodations!

A wonderful place

This was one of the best places I have ever stayed. It was a gorgeous home, super clean and well appointed. The neighborhood was sweet and quiet. It was very close to the Great Lakes Navy Base for my sons graduation from boot camp. I live in San Diego and this area reminded me of home with a diverse selection of shops and restaurants and all different kinds of people and cultures. I felt safe and enjoyed walks around the neighborhood. The houses are very different than here in San Diego. I highly recommend this place and the host was super friendly and and let me borrow some pans to cook in and a curling iron. Parking was easy. Overall one of the best experiences I have had!

Perfect for Navy Graduation

This was perfect for our adult family of 5. We had only intended to stay until saturday however my son's liberty got extended and we were easily able to stay the additional time. Everything we needed was there. We were about 15 min from base. It was really a 15 min drive to almost anything we needed to go to. We did have our own vehicle. Rooms were bigger than pictured. It was cold when we got there and since it is radiant heat it did take some time to warm up. Once during our stay the heat went out, contacted Karla and it was fixed right away. Parking was easy. Access was easy. Kitchen was more than adequate. Beds were VERY firm. Wouldnt hesitate to stay again for sons future liberty.

Disappointed

The property was in a dangerous areah with a very high crime rate with a D- rating for dangerous crimes. After, reading this information we were still willing to stay, however, the doors were unlocked and not working properly, so for safety reasons we were unable able to stay. Hi Ashlee, We’re very sad to hear you had a disappointing experience as we try to offer the absolute best and friendliest service possible to our guest. Also, I think it’s important to point out you had statistics way before you decided to book and you still made that choice. ( not to mention statistics you added are y inaccurate ). I cannot help but think your intentions were not in the right place when I spoke to you on the phone asking what felt unsafe about the area and you couldn’t mentioned anything other than some people of color you saw. You later claimed the doors didn’t work so we checked to confirm and this was completely untrue. I was willing to provide a refund but not under false claims.

My staycation

The rental was ok the host was really nice but if you plan on going out to downtown Chicago or any attractions the drive to get around the city will take about an hour and a half every day unless it’s nighttime… only thing u are close to at this location is six flags but other than that safe quiet area an the host lives down stairs from where u will be staying don’t know if that’s a good or bad for you an your guess but hey.. but it was cool for my first time in Chicago but I wouldn’t go back to this location because of the traffic you will deal with every day besides there are a lot more choices available near the attractions but this location has a drive way to park in if that helps you but for me I rather just get a hotel downtown or near for the real Chicago experience!!
