Welcome to our 3BR 1 bath unit located on the lower level of this charming duplex, ideally located for an exceptional stay. Whether you're visiting for business or pleasure, our cozy offers convenience and comfort.

Situated just 5 minutes from the Navy Boot Camp as well as Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine, The Temporary(Casino), Walmart and so much more. Thrill-seekers will be thrilled to know that the exhilarating Six Flags is only a short 15-minute drive away.

The host was very kind!The area is beautiful, the old homes and landscape are stunning! This area has a long history. We were very comfortable, the neighbor upstairs keeps to himself. In all I would recommend this cute little home away from home!

Pretty nice little place. Felt very homey. Only complaint I had was that this is an already occupied half double that the host lives in upstairs, but it is an apartment so... Not a big deal since he was very accommodating and friendly. Overall our stay was quite peaceful with minimal noise or issues. Would stay again.

The stay here was great. 3 full size beds . Water pressure was great. My brother stayed with us after graduation. The joke was big enough for everyone . The home was very close to the base .

We were there for daughters PIR from Navy bootcamp. This had everything we needed and was very close to base for drop off and pick ups!

Trip to Lake Forest College

Great place! 15 min from campus and 45-50 min to the city. Close to train station also. 10 min away from Walmart, Starbucks and a Duncan. Kitchen was stocked well to cook for ourselves. Only downside, small issue, towels were not ready when we checked in and we ended up having to cancel our dinner reservation

Not exactly as expected but it worked

house and neighborhood seemed very old and a bit creepy. Floors creaky when walking. A creepy basement and dark upstairs apartment that was unoccupied. Cockroach spray under bathroom sink. Shampoo/soap dispenser in shower did not work when trying to pump out and broken. But it was clean and extremely quiet.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m unsure about some of the claims, as the basement is unfinished and not part of the living space—it’s designated for the upstairs tenant. The upstairs unit you mentioned as unoccupied is actually rented, so we’re unsure how that assumption was made. We use a professional pest control company for all our properties, so the spray under the sink is unexpected. Regarding the shower dispenser, we only became aware of the damage after checkout when our cleaners reported it. We reviewed our pre- and post-checkout photos, confirmed the damage, and filed a claim accordingly. We’re always open to addressing concerns during a guest’s stay and would have appreciated the opportunity to do so before these comments were made. We value all feedback and thank you for staying with us.

We enjoyed the property and location. The gas line developed a small leak. They called and had it fixed quickly. We were unaffected by the leak. Host was great about communicating the process. I would stay here again.

Very convenient location if you’re looking for a place near the Navy base. We only needed two rooms but the 3rd room came in handy when my son was granted liberty for the evening. Each room has its own AC unit so you can control the temperature. All the kitchen stuff you need to cook with. Hairdryer in the bathroom. I feel the only thing missing is washcloths so bring your own. The tree where the parking is could use a few branches cut back so it doesn’t lay on the cars. The floors are a little uneven so if you have vertigo this may not be the place for you. Lighting in the kitchen is dim, could use new lighting in there. Overall it was peaceful, nice and cozy. Perfect for boot camp graduation! Owner was quick to respond and provided me with all the information needed.

The property was nicely remodeled and clean, but there were some items that were very limited that should have been supplied. For example, there were only 2 metal forks in the silverware set and only 3 bath towels and 1 hand towel for our party of 4. Not a big deal as we went shopping and picked up those extra things for our stay. The furniture was limited inside, even for a party of 4, and the lighting was rather dim in every room. There is a tenant that lives above this unit that we did not have any issues with; however, in the future, we will probably rent a home (without tenants) for the safety aspect of the stay. When having to contact the owner of the property, he was very polite and helpful. So, overall, it was a nice stay but the apartment could use some more things.

This is A MUST STAY for Navy Bootcamp Graduation!

This property was very easy to find. Very clean & well kept. Super spacious (way better than being stuck in a hotel room), plenty of room to move around. This place is less than a 10 minute drive to the Navy base, & very close to the Berkley Mall where you pick up graduation tickets. So convenient to everything, quiet & secure. Full kitchen if you wanna cook. 3 spacious bedrooms, full bath. Lovely property. Nigel was available for any questions, with a simple message. If I could give it 6 stars I would!

Floors were very sticky. Towels weren't available, some were delivered after contacting host. Dogs were barking at 7am nonstop right outside bedroom window. Price was kinda high considering you couldn't check in til 3pm & check out time was 10am

Not a true vacation rental. More a house share.

I have stayed in several vacation rentals and this was not one. It was a downstairs in an older duplex that was shared with occupants upstairs. This resulted in being able to hear every footstep and noise from upstairs from 5 in the morning untill we'll after midnight, making it incredibly difficult to sleep. Definitely no feelings of privacy or homey-ness. The apartment is not particularly child friendly and shows signs of wear and aging. It is less a vacation rental and more sharing a house with a stranger. It's fine for what it is, an old duplex with 3 bedrooms and a bathroom with free off street parking and easy check in. But don't expect anything more than this. We only stayed one night of the two we paid for and found a hotel room for our second night.

The apartment was very close to RTC which made it really nice. The host did communicate quickly to questions, although didn’t take care of everything. The accommodations were adequate The kitchen was stocked as far as dishes, silverware was sparse, pots & pans seemed ok, no dish towels, The light in the kitchen was really bad so we couldn’t cook at night. The host offered to fix it, but we were going to leave before he could take care of it. There were no extra blankets or towels. 6 towels for 5 (6 one night) people. No hand towels. Some wash cloths Host offered to bring more towels, but they never arrived.We bought blankets as the the extras didn’t arrive on time. Host has offered to reimburse.Blankets did arrive after we purchased ours There is an upstairs apartment.Not a big deal,although there seems to be a dog there. No barking, but some running around. The spaces are sparsely furnished,the living room had a couch that would seat 3, maybe 4 and one side table. There was a dining room table that would seat 6. Had to use these chairs for all to be together in living room And a high top with 4 chairs. The bedrooms had tiny side tables,room for a phone and the lamp on it. Closets had a few hangers and a small shelf above rod. No place for suitcases except the floor. We couldn’t find a receptacle to take the trash out. Also no instructions as to what to do with linens, etc when we left. Unit could use some work.
