Great trip for family of 6.

We had a wonderful stay at this unit. Our group consisted of two adults and four children (ages 4–11). Having stayed at several different condos over the years, we found the layout of this unit to be among the best for accommodating a larger group. The children especially loved the bunk beds, which added to the fun of the trip.The only minor drawback was that the sliding doors to the bunk room offered limited noise insulation, making it a bit challenging when the adults stayed up later than the kids.Each bedroom was equipped with a large television, although we hardly used them, as we spent most of our time at the beach and exploring the local area. The furniture and beds were all high-quality and sturdily built, and the recently renovated bathrooms were clean and modern.We also appreciated the well-equipped kitchen, which included plenty of cookware and solid cutlery—the best we’ve encountered in any rental (though the knives could use a bit of sharpening).Overall, we were extremely pleased with our stay and will definitely keep this unit at the top of our list for future visits!

In my opinion this is not a Penthouse it is a 3-bedroom top floor rental.

This is not what I expected for a penthouse. It is on the 10th floor, which is the top floor, but it does not have high-end features, spacious layouts, and expansive outdoor areas like terraces or decks. It does have a deck, but it is not different than any other apartments. The faucets just trickle water out because aerators are clogged, the hot water smells like sulfur, the shower heads are clogged water stream is low, the right front burner needs an infinite switch on the stove, the dryer door needs switched because you can't open the door unless you disconnect one side of the bifold door. Only one elevator is working so there are long wait times to go any.

Nice Unit

The unit was fine, but there were issues with the property. There was only one working elevator and the pool was closed for two days. Other properties rented to people who had teens who where arrested for underaged drinking. It was not the owner's fault, but there were issues with the property and those who rented other units.

could have been better for the price

this unit needs to be updated. the floor was really dirty. the patio furniture was old and rusty in some places. the water pressure was horrible. beds were very comfortable. no kitchen towels or dish cloths. missing enough forks and spoons. I don't know, I think for the price it should have been more equipped. also, not told the pool and hot tub was not working for the first whole week. that ws really a bummer... oh well.

Great Week in Indian Rocks Beach

We had a great week at this condo. It was very nice. We stay in one of the Sandcastle condo buildings every year. They are just the best for the area. This one was no different in the high quality we expected. There were lots of beach toys for our grandson. There is a great view of the Gulf that is just so wonderful. We saw dolphins and enjoyed watching the boats. Thank you for the lovely stay.

Family trip

We spent a full week at this condo in August 2024 (2 adults and 2 kids) and enjoyed our stay. The beach and the pool were not crowded and the weather was perfect! Amazing sunsets!! The condo itself had plenty of space for the 4 of us, the views were amazing on the 10th floor, plus the location is great in the area with restaurants nearby. We have rented appartments multiple times in the area and elsewhere in the world, this condo was unfortunately not the best one. The main reasons: the terrace is not clean and the patio furniture is old and broken/rusty/dirty. Also, the beds are not comfortable, the kitchen supply and the appliances are not good quality either. The bedrooms don't have blackout curtains or just curtains so it is bright early in the morning... not ideal when on vacation! The small bedroom doesn't even have a real door. In our opinion, this condo needs some improvements to be 5-star. A new dishawasher, a TV cabinet, a remodeled entrance, a door to the smallest bedroom, blakcout curtains in all bedrooms, better items in the kitchen.

Million dollar view.

My family & I loved this condo. Very spacious for 2 adults & 3 teens. All the comforts of home & very clean. View was amazing & only a few steps to the warm gulf waters. We enjoyed the pool & hot tub. Hosts were quick to answer texts & calls. We would definitely stay here again.

This condo is in a nice location. It wasn’t the cleanest place I have stayed. Trundle was full of sand, slats on bunk room door were broke, washer and dryer room doors were broke. The pull out couch was full of wrappers and under furniture was dirty.

Great Family Vacation

We were a family with 3 generations aged 73-15, this property was wonderful for us, great sleeping arrangements with comfortable beds. Beach was amazing and pool and hot tub were great too, many great restaurants in close proximity. The clothes dryer was broken but the property manager had somebody out to attempt to fix it ASAP and when it couldn’t be fixed, the owner replaced it by Tuesday. We understand things sometimes break and really appreciated timeliness of replacing the dryer. We will definitely return! Thank you for a wonderful week.

It was noted that some exterior restoration was going on in the time frame we would be there. I didn’t think that was much of an issue but upon arrival we didn’t have a parking spot because of painting which wouldn’t have been a huge deal had we been given instructions on where to park. There are only 3 to 4 guest spots on the property. Right before getting to the property we received a phone call letting us know the sliding door had a crack in it and we couldn’t use it but management ensured us it would be fixed the start of the week. Upon entering the unit there was a large glass sliding door stored behind the couch and caution tape of both sliding doors. The door was never fixed during our trip so we couldn’t use the balcony. The couch and chair need major cleaning. I put the extra sheets over the couch and loveseat for the week because it was so badly stained and just dirty. I’ve been to at least a 5 different condos over the last ten years of trips to that area. I can’t say this is one I’d go back to. They poured concrete outside the elevators one of the days of our stay and we couldn’t get on or off the elevator. There was absolutely no parking during the week do to workers parking the the lot all day. Overall it was one of the worst stays in my 10 years of visiting the area. They need to be a little more detailed on the restoration going on throughout the property. Other than the couches and chairs the rest of the unit was decently cleaned. I’m not sure I’d return here

Unit was under construction-terrible stay

I am perplexed why this owner chose to rent out the unit when this entire complex has been under construction for the past 3 years. During my stay I was unable to use the balcony and we had the unfortunate experience of listening to the sound of jackhammers beginning at 8am for half the week. My view of the ocean was obstructed by yellow caution tape and brown paper that was taped across the patio door as well as the patio door from the master bedroom. Several times during the week men were working directly on the balcony. At one point I came out of the bathroom after showering to find a construction worker on the balcony right outside the master bedroom-it was after 5pm! The pool could not be used, although it was a short walk to the next complex to use their pool. In speaking to personnel from the project management company, I was told that all tenants have been aware of the construction timeframe and are updated regularly vial email blasts. I was also told that they have communicated to all of the unit owners advising and recommending to all to not rent out their units during this time of construction. The neighboring complex has ceased rentals for this entire year; it is baffling why the neighboring building didn't. I think it is really selfish of the owner to rent out this unit knowing that the unit could not be used to the full potential. The cost for the week was not cheap. I am asking for a refund. It was a very frustrating week for me. My expectations were not met.

Amazing Beach Vacation!!!

Beautiful view and sunsets, very nice beach and pool. The beds were very comfortable. Would be nice if beach towels were provided. The kitchen was great except needed potholders and washcloths. I got some at Walmart and left them. Also needed more food storage containers so I got them and left them there. Added some sand toys for my grandsons and left them. The beach wagon was very nice to haul things to the beach!!! Faucet in quest bathroom sink is in need of repair, but was usable.

Lovely time at the beach

We very much enjoyed the "penthouse" effect of being on the tenth floor. The view from our spacious balcony was fabulous. It was a short ride on the elevator and we were at the pool and the beach. The place was very family-friendly, and the other guests were mainly families. Parking was generous and at no time did we need to find other parking.
