Unwind at this unique/pet friendly lake house that is a few minutes away from Downtown-a combination of both worlds. Admire the breathtaking views of the lake from the sunlit deck or right from the main BR of this elegant house. The home boasts a crisp, modern feel while still feeling comfortable and inviting. Enjoy a convenient kitchen, 2 BRs & a full BA, with an open floor living space. Perfect for romantic stays, time alone, or special time w/family & friends. Time to let your hair down!!!
About The space:
Walk out of the main bedroom or the sunroom directly to the deck and feel like you are at a tropical destination. The view is everything. Once there, you will not want to leave.
You will have access to the whole house. Enjoy 2 bedroom, 1 bath, kitchen, dining room, living room, and a sunroom.
The kitchen is fully stocked with the basics.
Quiet neighborhood.
Not a lot of grass.
BBQ in the backyard and enjoy.
Drink your coffee, wine, etc. right on the deck and relax by the water!
Walking distance to Avalon private beach. This beach is small and quiet.
Close to I75, restaurants, and bars

**Being on the lake can bring some seasonal notes to keep in mind. The water may not be swimmable in hot months, such as August. Fish Flies season is around the month of June.

Parking is available on the premises. Lockbox info will be provided prior to stay.

Other Details to note:
• Netflix and wifi is available.

• Fishing is common.

• We provide linens for the beds, but not daily maid service.

• Kitchen is fully stocked including Pots, Pans, Utensils, and Plates etc.

• There are a limited number of towels so feel free to bring some extra.

Our over all experience was good and we would definitely rent again. The sunrise views were spectacular and we loved being right on the water. It's in a great neighborhood where we felt safe. I love that it is pet friendly. The house is an older cabin and does smell a little musty but we were able to have the windows open most of the time. Also there was only one chair on the deck the other 2 chairs there were broken. I would recommend bring extra chairs to sit outside. Again, our over all stay was great.

We're repeat customers as we love staying at this cabin. It's homey, has nice decor, small kitchen but perfect for us, and of course we love the ability to relax, sun, or swim - right out the back door. The weather was cooler and the water more choppy than previous times we have been there, but we still enjoyed it. Especially nice at sunrise and sunset and a pleasure for anyone that likes photography. The owner responds to questions in a timely way. Hope to continue being able to go during our vacation days!

The view from the back porch was beautiful, but the lawn chair was rusted/ dry rotted so when my husband sat down he fell right through.. Unfortunately, the rest of the house wasn't up to par either. There was no hot water since the day we arrived, lamps were broken, the wood flooring was missing in a couple places, refrigerator needs fixed or replaced due to a loud humming, there were empty can lights in the ceiling that paper towels were shoved in so no critters could get in. The property is conveniently located to many restaurants without having to get on the highway. If necessary upgrades are made it will be a great place to stay.

Lovely neighborhood and couldn't be any closer to Lake Erie. We enjoyed the kayak provided and the vacationers next door were a lot of fun. It's an old building but the beds were comfy and we had no issues during our short stay.

Beautiful view and wonderful neighborhood

Perfect stay, my kids loved playing in the water, the house had everything we needed to cook meals. The check in was easy . The door was a little tricky to close, but we figured it out. Breathtaking views.
We got in the water, in the beginning the rocks are a bit rough and sharp (I’d wear water shoes). But a few feet in it was all sand

Wonderful place!

This was the ideal lakefront property! Having access to your own private beach was so amazing! The only negative was the front door really sticks, pretty hard to open and close. The neighborhood was nice and quiet, I will definitely be looking to book another stay here!

Lovely lakefront cottage with an awesome deck. There were a lot of ants in the kitchen during our visit - the owners were responsive and tried to get it resolved. My husband got some bites by a spider on the deck one night. The beds were comfortable and the house was a cozy place to spend a few days.

Staying here was absolutely wonderful. Girlfriend and I stayed with our dog coming up to visit my great nieces and couldn't have asked for a better place. Super quiet and peaceful, with just a short drive to anything we needed. Coffee at the local marina down the road was wonderful as well. Host was quick and polite responding to any questions we had. Look forward to booking again for our next visit.
