Thank you for your feedback Shane. We’re sorry to hear parts of your stay did not meet expectations. Cleanliness is something we take very seriously, and our home is professionally deep cleaned before every guest arrival. We’ve consistently maintained excellent cleanliness ratings, including 188 five-star cleanliness reviews on Airbnb. Regarding the couch covers, those are intentionally used to help protect our white couch since we are a pet-friendly property and host many guests traveling with animals. They are always freshly cleaned before each stay and completely optional to use during your visit. As for the kitchen cabinets, we provide complimentary spices, baking ingredients, condiments, and cooking essentials for guests who enjoy cooking during their stay and may not want to purchase those items themselves. We do apologize if any spilled flour or pantry items created a negative impression during your visit. The refrigerator is cleaned after every stay as well, though occasional condensation can naturally build up between cleanings. We truly appreciate your feedback, as it helps us continue improving the experience for future guests, and we’re glad to hear you enjoyed the updated and very clean bathrooms.

As with any home, things can come up over time, but we want future guests to know we take these situations very seriously. We didn’t receive a call or message during your stay — and we have a same-day response protocol for any issue, big or small. Since your visit, we’ve had the bathroom professionally cleaned, the space refreshed to address odor, and a licensed pest control service treat and inspect the property to ensure comfort moving forward.

It was truly a pleasure hosting you and your family, and we’re so glad you enjoyed the remodeled home and our responsiveness throughout your stay. We completely understand that every guest has different needs, and we’re so sorry for any inconveniences you experienced. While we do welcome families of all sizes, our home isn’t specifically toddler-proof, and we truly appreciate your perspective. We always want our guests—especially those with little ones—to feel as comfortable as possible, and we’ll take your feedback into account as we continue improving. Regarding the noise, we totally understand how that can impact a stay. Being in downtown Plymouth, the sounds of the city—traffic during the day, occasional emergency vehicles, and the train—are part of the environment. However, we do pride ourselves on being as far from the train as possible within the area, and many of our guests actually find the distant train noise to be soothing. The main road can certainly be busy during the day, but it does quiet down significantly at night. Unfortunately, that’s one of the trade-offs of staying in a walkable, downtown location, and we’re always happy to provide tips for light sleepers in future stays.
